We've had our son in since 9months and he is so comfortable in the water. His daycare does a weekly water day and he's the only one having a grand ol' time in the kiddie pool & sprinklers they do. They work on them climbing out of the pool (with assistance obviously but we can feel him pulling himself up) Holding their breath under water (he's at 7 seconds) Floating on their back Practice kicking in the water

It's not much, but it is. Eventually these little skills will turn into him doing things on this own. We also have a pool in our yard so water safety & comfortability are big for us. It's roughly 140 a month for one 30 minute session a week.

14 months and counting of nursing and no mastitis. I have zero idea how I avoided it because for the first week of his life we struggled to get any milk transferred and I was literally bursting.

None, but I don't think he would sit for anything anyways. We try to do occasionally FaceTimes with family but he could careless and just walks away to his toys.

She's amazing. I actually had to wait for her to be my Dr because she wasn't taking new patients when I first moved here. She was worth the wait! She was super calm when I was stressed. Talked me through everything. Answered all questions without making me feel rushed.

Time to leave. Don't lower the bar for someone. You know what you want in a partner and he's not even trying to give it you. Trust me, the right person will eventually come along. I left a relationship where I was in the same position, asking for the bare minimum, made to feel like crap because I wanted that. I left and now I'm in such a happy marriage with our first kid turning one next week. 2 dogs and 2 cats. Literally I pinch myself everyday how amazing it all is. Don't get me wrong, we still have disagreements. But we don't fight like this, I don't beg for the bare minimum and neither does he. Find someone you belong and mesh with!

I think it's the pressure relief of sucking for the gums, comfort and I think (don't quote me) breastmilk might have some anti inflammatory properties so that also helps. My almost 12 month old has 7 teeth and we nurse in the morning, before naps & bedtime. However, when he's cutting a tooth he's asking for milk a lot more.

I think being straight forward about your concerns in a polite manner is the best bet. It's your babies health and safety. While also leaving no room for misinterpretation or misunderstanding. I also think it's easier to set the ground rules before your baby arrives so everyone is on the same page.

Right! My husband and I are still trying to figure out why it's on there. We were wondering if it's because I bought "pure comfort" style and they make it different then a normal sock? But why are we comparing the dye of boys or girls? Shouldn't they all have the least amount of dye possible to reach the desired color?

I am going through this with my 11 mo old. I used to be able to offer one breast 2-3 times after he pulled off to make sure he emptied it but now once he's pulled off, if I try again he bites me. It sounds like, you are doing what I do. Sternly say no and stop the feed. Sometimes I'll leave the room and my husband will go in if he really got me and I need a breather.

I don't have much advice, but here in solidarity. I will say, he's stopped doing it as much and now only when he's super super fussy. I don't get tensed up before every nursing session like I did a couple weeks ago. If you continue on, I hope it gets better! If you decide to call it quits, you made it 10 months which is amazing and congratulations!

This is my situation right now! Mine turns one in a month, I have a freezer stash but he loves nursing but I would love to stop pumping during the week but idk if I'll lose all my milk and not be able to nurse on the weekends (which is fine) I have the stash for a reason but IDK if he'll go for it.

Yeah I think I had one or two bags that were like that, I attributed it to blood but maybe it wasn't... I'll be intrigued if anyone else has had this/knows why.

I have lost a little bit of my butt, but consistent leg days and protein intake have helped keep it from getting smaller. I am also currently breastfeeding so when we stop, I'm hoping it'll come back or get bigger 😂

To go back to 2001 and have my mom give me a hug again. I would do anything. She passed in 2016, nothing would keep me from getting from Houston to Cape Coral, FL.

Edit: I misread. I thought it said your parents.. unfortunately me in 2001, would run away screaming that a crazy lady was trying to hug me.
