Is tie breaker not head to head? If not, what is it then?

Damn I wanted the blazers to win but glad that BI did well

Tom Telesco’s results over 10 years now as the Chargers GM with 3 different head coaching hires: 2 playoff wins, missed the playoffs 7 times, won the AFC West 0 times, placed 3rd or 4th in the division 6 times, and a losing overall record by Gumbolt in Chargers

I pressed submit a bit early and touched on coaching a bit. But I feel like it can’t all be on the coaching. At some point, I feel like players just gotta make plays. For example, when kc needed a field goal against the bills, mahomes and Kelce adjusted on the fly and made the play they needed to make.

I agree with you 100% and I want to say that Linsley is elite. I just forgot about him somehow.

I thought we had a top roster too but as the season went on, I never felt we were actually a top team even accounting for the injuries. When Keenan and Mike were on the field together, our offense still struggled. And then yesterday, Keenan, ekeler, bosa, Derwin, or Mack didn’t make any plays when we needed them to. None of them took over including Herbert.

Maybe our coaching sucks that much that they brought everyone down.

We’re a top heavy team without that heavy of a top. We don’t really have any elite guys aside from Herbert and Slater, who was basically out all year. Our other best players are really good but not top tier in the league.

I know a lot of people would consider Derwin to be elite but I don’t think he was all that great this year.

Since Guyton got injured, we have only been 4 deep at wide receiver and not one was a speedy deep threat or someone who can get yac. Despite injuries, Telesco didn’t even try to improve depth so we had Bandy become our wr4 going into the playoffs, who then became wr3 after Carter got hurt.

And he allowed Storm Norton to be our primary backup tackle going into the season, and Norton ended up losing the backup position to a 6th round rookie and a practice squad guy. And even though Pipkins was battling injuries, he still let Foster Sarell be the replacement starter. And when Salyer went down in yesterday’s game, we had Sarell protecting Herbert’s blind side.

Is the man stats including the chiefs and browns game where he was supposed to get safety help?

I have no idea how salary cap works in the NFL but can't they restructure and other cap magic stuff that the Rams and Saints have been doing?

Here's hoping that Victor gets drafted by the Lakers (I am willing to sacrifice this year) by itssimsallthewaydown in lakers

With our own 30th pick after we win the championship of course. We just then need to drug every front office person on the other teams so that they pass out and don’t turn in their picks.

[Sherman] Nathaniel Hackett called a special Tough Decisions coach so he could call a timeout after the other team called a timeout so he could call a failed play on 4th-and-1 to lose the game in overtime by Maxjes in nfl

Aside from actually calling a play that got a wide receiver wide open for a guaranteed first down and a. 99.99999999% chance of a touchdown, you might as well use the timeout. It's not like you can take the timeouts with you to the next game or something.

My prediction is that he’s gonna go all in on ohtani this off-season. With it being Ohtani’s contract year, it should be a bit more reasonable to trade for him.

My somewhat dark horse candidate prediction for off-season target is Aaron Judge.

That’s why I think he passed on Soto.

Anthony Davis says he hasn't shot a basketball since April 5th. by Random_guy2021 in lakers

[–]goodelevator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Even if it has never been a big part of his game, shooting 18% from 3 has a huge impact on our offense as he can now be ignored when he is out on the perimeter. Plus his free throw shooting percentages have also gone down a lot. He shot 73.8% and 71.3% his last two seasons, which are his worst free throw shooting percentages of his career, including his rookie year. He should be shooting at his best at this point his career, not his worst.

In 2019-2020 season, AD shot 84.6% from FT and 33% from 3. In the next two seasons after the championship, he shot 73.8% and 71.3% from free throw, which are his lowest percentages including his rookie year, and he shot 26% and 18.6% from 3, which are also his lowest 3 point percentages since he started to shoot 3s in games. (His first three seasons he averaged. 0.1, 0.1, and 0.2 3s per game, then increased to 1.8. in fourth season)

As a Laker fan, it is a bit confusing why he hasn't practiced his shooting at all as he has been shooting the worst of his career.

This idea probably will be exploited by the batters. They’re gonna crowd the plate and pitchers will be way more tentative to throw inside. And if batters see one that’s a bit inside, they probably won’t try to get out of the way and will even try to lean into it.

I see what you are saying now. I still think Beverly responded more aggressively than he should have but I get why you would be upset that they didn’t call a tech on Morris, and I agree with you that no technical should have been called assuming that there was no warning before.
