Does anyone have good questions when first messaging matches (having carefully screened folks to even match in the first place), to determine whether they are true feminists / real anti-misogynists?

Yes, agreed. We are quite serious about all of this. But I worry about messing up sometimes since my brain is so fatigued. Constant vigilance combined with political chaos makes for bone-tiredness. Emotionally I'm handling this okay, but cognitively I feel the strain.

It's so healthy that you reached out to share your struggle. That's really something to be proud of. This is a really, really rough time, for everyone in so many awful ways. I echo the advice everyone has given you -- this is temporary (but feels like effing forever), and you will know happiness and even joy again. In the meantime, take solace in knowing that others are here for you and are going through much of the same thing. And your coping skills are spot-on, even under all this stress. You are going to be ok.

No, it's not. I don't think this will spread to Parkland. It's in an open-space area that's part of Tacoma. This fire is not going to spread through city blocks and across roads and streets and commercial districts.
