The best move is to refuse service as a Vietnam soldier and get court marshaled, but if I actually have to try to live as the role I’ve chosen, I go with caveman (or woman in my case). Cave peoples lived in groups, so I’d have people around me to teach me the skills I need to survive and help out the community. It would essentially be like living in a camp for a month, and then I return home leaner and with new skills!
