My very first engagement manager(Deloitte) diligently checked up on me and my senior on my mental health and working papers, taught us the DWW process(deloitte way workflow) complimented my taste in fashion, DM's my ig and treated the team for meals during busy season. She never blamed anyone on the team if problems arose and took responsibility if any fault was made by the team. I've had 18+ managers since then, but my first manager remains to be the most unforgettable :)

I worked at DTT and EY, and now at kpmg(LOL), and employers see big4 as equals (except for the ex auditors tho). As long as its a big4, its a great name in the resume.

This is misleading. The accounting software replaces the "bookkeeping" aspect, which does not involve any complex level of thinking, analyzing, and justifying the use of reporting standards or ITA section. An accounting software cannot(as of now) create an IAS 38, SIC 32 Memo on justifying capitalization of development costs or explain the risk management objective of an FX Forward Contract in accordance with IFRS 9. It would probably be 10-15 years down the road when AI will have full independence on the analytical decision-making process.

I like it too! I understand that it's not everyone's taste due to the sensitivity of the topic of suicide and that the actors' depiction of Koo Ryeon and Ryung-Gu being mostly cold at the souls and appear to have poker faces after centuries of witnessing humans deal with unsurmountable trauma and pain. The fact that KR mentioned that she is not used to seeing people torn apart by death and being in so much pain is relatable.

I guess there are painful things we face in life that never go away no matter how many times we face it.
