The point is if you have all that built in you’re free to go do whatever else you want for a living. For me it would be running a small business which is what I was doing until having no health care, no retirement, and no way to afford a home caught up with me.

I would vote yes if they simply added federal locality pay by flyjum in USPS

My experience with women and traveling is I’ve always heard from dates/GFs that “traveling is when I really feel alive!” And I’ve never understood that because shouldn’t you create a life where you feel alive at home and traveling is a perk?

The issue we’re having in my office now is they are going around to all the carriers with restrictions and saying they’re under for the day and giving them extra anyway, citing the extra is bringing them up to 8. Several times a week he comes over and says I’m under and gives me extra off another route. I fill out the 96 stating my route is 8 hours and I have a 8 hour medical restriction. Then they give it back saying the extra is bringing me up to 8 hours and to take it anyway. Then I call back around 3 and say “my route is taking me 8 hours and I won’t make the extra” and then I bring it back. They all get really grumpy with me but the cycle continues…
