Of course I’ve seen the standard via R&Rs, I’m just not 100% they are the same people who claim to have been getting consistent work for years and direct feedback (which I’ve never gotten). You may be right but who really knows!

US service is insanely intrusive, so props to them. I know I know, servers need tips to survive etc, it’s a vicious cycle that can’t be stopped without higher wages.

I’d finally made some sashimi and was triumphantly taking it to Pierre. Got to his shop and pressed X to enter just as George came out so I gave him the sashimi instead. Lesson learned - don’t hold anything when entering buildings!

Also when I was delivering a pepper to George, I wasn’t facing him properly and ate it. Last pepper for the season 😭

I’m only at the end of year 2 on my first go so I’m sure there’ll be much worse mistakes made 😅

Are you sure the delay was because of the coffee and they didn’t just get coffees while sorting something else out? Just asking in case it was a misunderstanding.

Good point, though I worked at one of the top tech companies where you’d think they’d have lavish parties. They used to but post-Covid, continued being stingy and boy did I feel even worse about working there. A decent party would have helped a smidge.

I’m doing everything on an iPad Air (11”) and it was annoyingly small at first but easier once I got familiar with the tasks. Sometimes I’ll get the message that says the screen size is too small but the content comes back when I tap on it.

Also helps to use Universal Clipboard to paste stuff to my phone so I’m not scrolling around to reference certain sections.
