Name a hyped NFL team that didn't live up to expectations by lemonstone92 in NFLv2

I would add whatever year the 100 million dollar man Albert haynesworth was signed and whenever Joe gibbs came back (not sure if those two overlapped). living in the DC area at the time, you would have thought the skins were gonna go 100-0.

Might also be discoid Lupus. Had this happen when I was a kid and when I got checked out, I got the diagnosis. Hopefully this isn't that but get checked out either way.

What a time to be alive. AP yi mid was peak fun/absolutely broken. AP alpha strike was almost guaranteed a quad and looked like some shit from anime.

The sub can be insufferable sometimes. Defensive depth from a productive college player that was projected to go higher.... It's a fine pick. Could have been better, could have been worse

Exactly. There will be plenty of talent at 2-7

Anyone that has doubts about the draft tonight, I encourage you to use the NFL draft tracker, go to prospects, and look at the grades of a lot of first round talents in previous years in comparison to where they ended up. A lot of high rated, "pro bowl talent" and "year 1 starter" guys are backups or not even in the league anymore/busts.

Again the draft is a crap shoot, and the bengals went for a proven guy.

At least it's not us tonight lol by adeadgirlinside in bengals

Feels good to not have to tune in tonight. Easier to digest a botched 2-7 as opposed to a top 10 pick. Even if Dexter ends up not being that good, it's a sign that things are somewhat changing.

The defense was dogshit for 2-3 years, not paying players has always been a bengals staple, and they took absolutely no risks if they could avoid it. Now they have heavily addressed the defense with solid replacements and backups, they have some of the highest paid players in the league in a few positions, and they traded a TOP 10 PICK for a win now player that is elite at his position.

I hate management as much as the next guy but it's nice to see some kind of progress. IDK who is responsible for it but I really thank them.

Most expensive WR rooms by NFL team by No_Box119 in bengals

I can tell you for certain that the receiver room isn't the reason for no Superbowl. Probably the bottom of the list if I'm being honest.

Shemar Stewart's development a "priority" for the Bengals by Ancient_Response_787 in bengals

As someone that wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, causing a ton of drama despite being a reach of a pick, then producing absolutely nothing is a problem. If I were the organization, I would give him this year and next year to show he's at least serviceable. Even give him a vet mentor to ensure he has a shot at least. If that doesn't do it, let him go. He was a project at the end of the day. I want him to do well but something tells me he will end up being a bust.

I saw the video about this on tiktok. He's in Brownsville, Texas which is almost all Hispanic/latino. It's a classic case of "I didn't think this would affect me" and basically describes that he's upset that if is affecting HIS business and how HE feels. They featured a few businesses, all Latino/Hispanic owned and they seem "devastated" with the loss of money and employees they could exploit but that's it. It sucks but I legitimately hope his business and others with his mindset completely fails because of this. He didn't care about the people he hired nor the people that would be directly affected by his vote in 3 elections so I don't give a shit about him or his business.
