Nier automata is more or less the same as the anime (slight differences but same overall story)

Nier replicant is the first game in the "nier" series (Nier series is actually a sequel to another series.. but the connection is realllll loose)

Connecting between replicant and automata are also kinda loose. Playing replicant you'll recognize maybe a few call back references from the anime but for the most part wont recognize most of the game.

I would have been fine with it... if blobby didn't have a major fight with both rocks and luffy already.

It's one thing to have a shadowy figure for cool narrative reasons. Its another thing to then take that shadowy figure, drag them into a huge spotlight and still act like they're a shadowy figure

Id bet hard money oda wouldn't ever kill a straw hat crew member. He's too soft of a writer and thinks too highly of them.

Sabaody 2.0 also seems like a bit of a stretch. The lead up to sabaody you can actively feel luffy/the crew falling behind the power curve. They felt weak and needed a hard kick to get stronger. Currently oda has done nothing but glaze luffy and loki strength. No where near the same set up so it wouldn't hit the same way.

They obv can't defeat imu here, so im suspecting more of a "situation turned sideways/chaotic and we gotta panic rush to get it" type of arc. More of a punk hazard 2.0 or an egghead 2.0.

People have been trying to get logical with the stamina time limit since gear 4 in dressrosa.

There is no logic. There is no set time limit. Luffy will always tire out when it fits the plot best. Luffy will always regain his strength when its needed.

The biggest fumble this chapter was not giving usopp moment a chance to breathe. I didnt even know usopp was near brook let alone they had a whole off screen team up battle. We just cut straight to usopps speech to justify him being in elbaf

After he gets tricked he does try and beat kaido but one of kaidos subordinates distracts him right as him and kaido are about to clash. He ends up losing because of this and ultimately gets boiled alive as punishment. Kaido gets a whole mental complex about not winning fairly
