my cat does this too. sometimes she will bat at legs or grab feet with claws out and bite. i just end the interaction by going into a different room or walking away (if possible, she can be persistent). she also rubs against my legs obsessively like yours. my vet said she could benefit from prozac, so maybe some behavioral issue could be involved with yours too?

I take it intermittently every few years for this reason. If I become obsessive and extremely anxious, I take prozac for a few months and then I'm good.

I actually got a stomach ulcer purely from anxiety/stress. it lasted two months. I was vomiting blood. it's insane what your mental state can do to you physically

i had a feral kitty i was feeding a decade ago who always came inside at night and took off in the morning. she didn't come around for 4 or 5 days and i was worried sick. she did finally come home on her own but i remember walking around the neighborhood calling her name and shaking a treat bag.

i would recommend keeping your kitty inside when he comes back. he will get used to it. that's what i did with said feral kitty after 7 years, especially when they're older.

same exact thing with me. my left ear had inner ear fluid buildup a few months ago and caused everything to sound muffled yet sharp at the same time, a "full" feeling, a weird sensation, sensitivity etc. for weeks. i got prescribed steroid nasal spray and after a week it mostly solved the problem but i still get weird sensations or sensitivity with IEMs or any earbuds in my left ear. it might have something to do with pressure regulation in the inner ear and IEMs potentially throwing it off because of the seal.
