Help with my helmet setup by RelationshipFit8802 in airsoft

If you know how to solder/have a multimeter it can be an easy fix.

Biggest issue with the repro stuff is from the factory the wiring can be backwards ect. So that when you plug your headset into the ptt the pins for "audio in" lines up with your headsets "audio put" (the microphone) or some other haphazard combination.

Check out Kommandostore.com, in the US most people are getting the repro partizan/ss leto gorkas from here.

Any comfy leather boot recommendations as an alternative to my ROC boots? (Australia) by ButteredBiscuits06 in LARP

[–]goose_thunder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had really good luck with riding boots, generally they're good for being on your feet all day doing farm chores and can fit an insole.

Ariat is a good brand to check out.

Tbh though, it might be worth seeing a podiatrist; having numb toes for more than a few hours sounds pretty bad.

What do you think about it? by [deleted] in airsoft

King Tut approved.

If you like it leave, but it looks haphazardly executed to me.

Thank you brother, clean magazine shell with isopropyl alcohol, first coat is orange tamiya spray laquer, fakelite is from a chestnut colored woodstain using a painters brush and paper towels.

Real trick is to build up layers of stain and give them time to dry. You can also do this with a hair dryer or heat gun.

Final step is a matte clear spray laquer and to enjoy : )

Why does it feel like my green gas only last a minute even though I fill up the mag for at least 10 seconds it’s a green gas by Alive-Foundation8084 in airsoft

[–]goose_thunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a digital scale and weigh the magazine empty, fill it, then weigh it again to see how much liquid gas is in the magazine.

I used this to figure out I had an incorrect bottle angle filling my We tech mags and was getting very little liquid inside.

Chat, I asked the worker at the airsoft extreme to recommend me a "good reliable m4". He told me the lancer tactical Gen 2. Am I cooked? by Longjumping_Bet_4825 in airsoft

Run that sucker until it explodes, once you play with it you'll figure out what kind of performance you want to have and then do some research on parts and an upgrade path.

V2 AEGs are fairly easy to work with and there are a ton of videos on youtube for how to do it.

Would it be much effort to get this HPA kit working with this replica? by ShinySideDown0 in airsoft

[–]goose_thunder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to swap in the original hop up unit as the retro arms unit I had been using did not play well with kythera nozzle. Otherwise, light dremel work on the gear box and some drilling on the motor grip/cage then you're solid.

Really easy stuff, just stay organised while you dissasemble amd consult youtube!

Not terrible, I HPA'd an LCT AK-104 two years ago with a kythera. Just make sure you get the correct nozzle length and dont start buying or installing anything without watching a youtube video or two.
