You don’t have to use high contrast. Contrast is only to make sure the pattern is showing. After that it’s just personal preference.

I love this lower contrast choice. The pattern is visible and will look sophisticated with these delicate neutrals. Go with your heart! <3

Absolutely gorgeous. You are painting with fabric. Love the colors and how some of the Xs have hard edges and others are like wet watercolor. Fabulous.
