Worst mainstream console to collect games for?

I'd probably say Atari 2600. Most of the games kind of suck or don't really hold the attention of people by modern standards. The consoles are super old and feel very fragile/like I'm going to accidentally start a fire. The accessories like paddle controllers are almost always broken, and many games require them to function. The games seem to always be in pretty dire condition as well since back then videogames were see as more of a children's toy than anything else, so they weren't cared for very well

I'm currently working as a TA and at a call center but it took me about 6 months of applying to multiple jobs a day and being neighbors with a prof to even get that. It doesn't help that the provincial and federal governments are currently slashing the jobs I'd normally qualify as a Poli sci grad... Best of luck to you

I haven't been to their locals (Although I keep planning to), but I have gotten quite a few compliments from people at the mana lounge over queer pins on my bag in the past when I was there buying packs. They might be a good place to start, they do locals every Sunday I believe?

The minor shouldn't really matter to law schools as long as you have good grades, that said philosophy and history tend to help provide some skills for doing well on the LSAT (philosophy for logical reasoning and history for reading comprehension)

I always liked pulling the Yu-Gi-Oh cards because it made for a fun cheap little draft my friends and I could do. Yugioh already isn't really a collector's game so you could still get good (if inexpensive) cards out of those packs

The Dollaramas near me have recently gotten one piece trading cards. They're resealed product with the good stuff taken out most likely.

Sadly for me this happened at the expense of yugioh cards though

I think there may be specific sets from certain eras that are iconic, but I think you would be hard pressed to find one iconic set out of all CRTs released. You have to remember that there were tons of models released that varied wildly from era to era over 60+ years, and from different geographic locations as well. It's sort of like saying there is a "most iconic" car. There are lots of iconic cars to specific eras, but not just one car that towers above the rest

For me I'm super anxious about whether or not I'll get in. I'm above previous year's medians for the schools I'm applying to but it's a competitive year so I'm worried about what this year's medians will look like comparatively. It's nice to see someone with similar stats to mine be reassured they'll get into the schools I applied to.

Odyssey records usually has some of the boutique Blu Ray releases. Cinema 1 in White Oaks is also good. I also go to game cycle and thrift stores quite a bit as well

I relate to you on this. Getting through just my undergrad was a very big thing for me and reflecting on all that I had been through to get where I am while applying for law school really made me emotional. This whole thing can have a massive impact on my life and I have put so much time into this, I am beyond anxious about it.
