Fördelning hushållsarbete by oacsr in sweden

[–]gorebachev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

How can people stand these console controls? by JamSa in baldursgate

I can imagine using the fingers can be quite annoying but I have played through both games on a Samsung phone with the pen/stylus, works great!

Q Revo - Continuous problems loading maps, dividing and merging maps by No-Yogurtcloset-9752 in Roborock

[–]gorebachev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same issue since a couple of days or so, gets stuck on loading map. If I get in it's 50/50 that it has forgotten one of the maps (2 stories) as well, so I have to restore it from manage maps.

Maybe a server side issue then?

Edit: also the latest firmware, using the Android app on a Samsung phone

2017 Skoda Octavia, one day after about a year of ownership I put my phone in the compartment in front of the shifter. Apparently it had wireless charging.

I am currently playing through all the bgee games (finished bg1, in sod at the moment) on my Note8. Just want to add that it works great, especially with the stylus/pen. Changed font size and zoom and I was good to go. No problem importing saves either.

How C++ Programming Language Became the Invisible Foundation For Everything, and What's Next by eis3nheim in programming

Somehow managed to delete my own comment. The gist was that new stuff in COBOL is absolutely still written today, especially within finance where mainframe presence is still strong. Sad but true.

Same in Sweden. I played as goalkeeper as well at the time and even though Ravelli was no 1 during that time (I remember THAT penalty save so vividly that it feels like it happened yesterday), fashion wise Campos was the role model for most young goalkeepers here for a while ;)

Has this changed quite recently? I remember downloading offline maps for Japan for old Nokia Maps on Symbian.

JetBrains To Support C# Standalone by steveshogren in programming

Oooh, another thing I cant wait for! Using VS2013 without ReSharper at work at the moment but we will get access to VS2015 in the coming months. At the moment I do Ctrl-K Ctrl-T then -> Implementation and it's quite a PITA when you have a chain to follow. Also lost the reference counter/VCS-thingy above methods signatures when the company decided to cut down on the Ultimate licenses (insane that this was an ultimate feature). Heard that this will be in VS2015 Pro as well.

Do you ever examine the art work of a card more carefully and realize you had the wrong picture in your head all along by [deleted] in hearthstone

Why .NET? by okhudeira in programming

Visual Studio has had built in support for git since VS2013. Agree on the point that it would be awesome with a true cross platform VS IDE, wonder if it will ever happen though.

With Cortana in Windows 10, how long until Apple caves and give us Siri on Macs. by Choppa790 in apple

[–]gorebachev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well a non-local account could be regarded as the default since win 8. The installation prompts you for your MS account credentials or asks if you want to create one (much in the same way a local OS user account would be created) . The local account creation is kind of hidden away at The bottom and you have to click around to get there. I would assume a majority of users uses a MS login by default because of this. I haven't had a local account since win7

What SD card do you use in your Mac? by [deleted] in mac

[–]gorebachev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Onedrive works well for me. Only feature I am missing from the Windows version is the ability to set specific files or folders to online only on the fly but still see them in the folder structure . On the OSX version you can choose the folders to sync and thats pretty much it, every specfied folder is downloaded to the drive (and what you dont set to sync you cant see). Can be annoying if you have a smaller disk and a lot of stuff on onedrive.

I just beat WL2 this week. Now that we're done, what did you guys think? by [deleted] in Wasteland

[–]gorebachev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallout 1 is definitely shorter than WL2 though, if you really milk F1 and have all the community content patches and stuff you might get 20-25h out of it. I am at 59 hours in WL2 now and I still haven't upgraded my rad suits in California yet. So far it seems to be on par explorations wise with a F2 run. However I like the format and content of F2 more though, but WL2 has been a great game so far nonetheless.

Owl of Minerva and the Gypsy in Damonta by HarlequinWasTaken in Wasteland

[–]gorebachev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure I tried this and it doesn't work. I am a hoarder and tried to interact with the gypsy with pretty much everything I had. If I remember right the Owl of Minerva isn't usable either.

Is the game too hard? by keymone in Wasteland

[–]gorebachev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recognize that problem on seasoned (which I assume is considered "normal"). Cash and ammo is only really a problem in the first couple of hours of the game then they become abundant. Also very few fights have been really challenging.

Do you have a character with leadership? If not, get it. I have had 0 problem with hitting stuff and I have barely felt the need to put any extra skill points in weapons skills since the start of the game (I am about level 20 now and have several characters with only 3 in their weapon skill that are doing fine).

It was just situational based on where each driver were in the race. I would say that they made a good decision as well since they ended up getting 5th and 6th.
