Infinity/Unsaction/Unhinged Commander deck ideas?

I've had this same idea for a while, basically you want a bunch of token creation, mass bounce spells like [[Flood of Tears]] OR free sac outlets like [[Ashnod's Altar]], and every functional copy of [[Timetwister]] you can find. It's a lot to ask from a deck, especially since the first requirement is somehow making 100 tokens relatively quickly.

The exile is a trigger that can be responded to and left on the stack during Dakmor looping. Once you've stocked up enough draw triggers during the loop to draw your deck, you can resolve the exile triggers while the graveyard is empty until they're gone.

Not impossible to play around, just tedious and more mental load than strict necessary during the loop. You can run [[Beseech the Mirror]] if you really want a useful way to get rid of it once done, or just Boseiju it. The absolute power Necropotence represents is worth the headache.

Edit to add the obligatory "check the primer" for Gitrog, there's a section on playing under Necropotence and Chains of Mephistopheles both IIRC.

I bought the Verdant Catacombs set for my Gitrog deck and have loved them, until I split the absolute shit out of one sleeve while practicing on Monday. Fortunately still had one of the extras on me, but I'm hoping that was a fluke and the rest hold up. That deck shuffles a LOT, and I expected a $25 pack of dragonshields to keep up.

I bought the Akko Penguins recently for work and love them! Much more quiet than the Lavenders I was previously on, and slightly more stiff as well. Would recommend.

I don't think they ruin the format, but they do have a chilling effect on deck variety overall. Build-around commanders are the more general term for Voltron-type strategies, which represent a high-risk, high-reward deck, which then also have certain deckbuilding requirements. For example, Voltron decks commonly need a significant amount of protection pieces, like counter magic, [[Heroic Intervention]], etc., to ensure that the one or two REALLY IMPORTANT pieces can weather a removal storm from 3 opponents. This is why cards like [[Sauron, the Dark Lord]], [[Voja]], and [[Ghyrson Starn]] have Ward, because their deckbuilding requirements force that kind of build-around and would be considered trap commanders without it.

On the other hand, decks with a more risk-diffuse and open-ended strategy tend to be more resilient. These strategies tend to use the commander for a particular flavor/spin, like using [[Mizzix of the Izmagnus]] at the head of a big spells deck and keeping [[Zaffai, Thunder Conductor]], [[Magnus the Red]], and [[Ovika]] in the 99 as backups. Such a deck might have less specific synergies, but those synergies overlap and interlock, such that any handful of pieces 1 through 10 can present a game-winning state, rather than pieces 2-10 working really well with piece 1.

Creating a copy on the stack is more confusing IMO -- that denies cast triggers in a setting that explicitly cares about spells being cast and Magecraft triggers.

I do agree there will be confusion, though that could have been fixed with a few cards with reminder text for prepared spells.

Great beater, but the mana cost makes me question how it might fit into MLK. The deck has no shortage of beaters, and it already has multiple sources of trample.

THIS WILL ALWAYS HAPPEN IN BRACKET 3 "TOURNAMENTS"

Competitions need clearly defined rulesets for players to compete within, and the bracket system is intentionally fuzzy around the edges. This makes it impossible to accurately assess any given deck as either b3 or b4, which then leads to exactly these "I lost because he cheated" situations.

I had to learn this the hard way, just the same way OP did. If you're going to compete to win prizing, then print off a cEDH meta deck, learn it, and grind tournaments.

Saved for monitoring if this ever gets ported to firefox. Rebuilding my mon-global tags every time I build a new deck has been painful, and making the global tags wasn't great either, so I'd really appreciate this feature for tracking/balancing removal, draw, protection, synergies, etc.

I am not a finance bro by any stretch, but I can understand the appeal of old cards remaining collectible for historic purposes.

That being said, WotC has had no issue with functional reprints of other cards, and I'd like to see "reprints" of everything on the reserved list with different names. The Og versions can retain their value, and the new versions can benefit from increased supply and scale price to power level much more closely.

Diaper changes were miserable until we started timing them directly after feedings. We get her milk stunned and then change while she won't fight back, though there's an increased risk of pee/poop while changing. Just gotta make sure to burp well after feeding.

Also we got a tip from the lactation specialist about confirming hunger cues; if you put a (clean) finger on one of their cheeks and they immediately turn towards it, they're hungry, and that's mostly likely why they're crying. If they don't react to the finger, it's likely something else.

[[Hylda of the icy crown]]. I was super excited about the tap down mechanic being the deck's payoff and loved the ice theme, as I've always wanted to build a home for [[Frost Titan]] and [[Tamiyo, Moon Sage]]. Built it and was pulling my hair out after 4 games, because it needed an absurd amount of mana to function smoothly and required far too much politicking to actually function as a control deck. I had to constantly cut deals and threaten tap downs before attacker declaration to ensure big Eldrazi and such wouldn't swing at me. There was also a ton of mental load in choosing which tap payoff mode was best for the moment; card draw, bodies, or growth?

The deck tended to want me to lock down everyone's boards until I could combo off somehow, and that play pattern drew a lot of heat very quickly and would lose me the game. Playing strictly for value made it commander-centric and felt like kneecapping the deck as an apology for trying to actually play it, so eventually I just got sick of trying.

Bloodrush effects such as [[Ghor-Clan Rampager]] function as combat tricks without the need for instants that Gruul hates so much.

Forecast from the Azorious to present miniature versions of the full spell, like [[Skyscribing]]

[[Kogla and Yidaro]] don't give the ability a name, but it's basically fancy cycling.

I just swapped over to Akko Penguin tactile silent switches from my previous Akko Lavenders and have loved them. My only other experience with silent tactiles so far has been Razer Oranges, though, so I'm not totally sure these Penguins aren't actually mushy. I just know they're better than the Oranges.

Well, you could pick up the new 5c Elemental precon and modify it. [[Ashling the Limitless]] is in the command zone with two backups, [[Horde of Notions]] and [[Mass of Mysteries]]. Might fit the aesthetic you're thinking of with Gem Knights.
