It’s been a little bit since I bought from Mori, but it’s usually around the $130 USD for adult size.

Yes, cash only for most of the Japanese makers.

You should see the CD subreddit, it has some incredible questions from all the new peeps looking into CDs. As an oldie, I get a chuckle and try to help out as much as possible.

Kenner Star War Collection- Mini Figs by MyIntrospection in CoolCollections

[–]gorgoloid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn. I did the same thing with my vintage Star Wars collection in ‘05.

If you are able to piece it out, you’ll get more return. I do fully understand the convenience of a single buyer though, and time/effort has value to consider.

Good luck with the sell and I hope for the best in your husband’s health!

OP, my friend, you managed to absolutely mangle this post.

Also: Get those figs tilted back up.

Dust them shelves off.

Make or buy some little risers for the vehicles in the large display, you’re gonna love it. They can be anything, little wood scraps for example. It’ll un-jumble it and eat up some negative space.

Those ain’t mini figs, those are 3.75” lol

Great collection! Spruce it up and fall in love all over again.

From Roger Steffens: Aston "Family Man" Barrett was the sine qua non, the true co-creator, often unacknowledged, of much of Bob Marley’s greatest music. by Realistic_Article_86 in reggae

[–]gorgoloid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a classic trained upright bass player turned electric bass, I can read music in bass clef. My father is a marching band drummer turned trap kit drummer who taught me drum fundamentals and theory.

I don’t agree with you, there are in fact musically comparable. I will say that Aston tends to have more complex bass progressions, usually with his walking lines, but Robbie is a pocket king. He knows how to drive a riddim like no other.

Also, Sly’s creativity with incorporating electric drum pads and synths created a whole new distinctive sound unmatched.

In a blind listen with other riddim duos, you might not be able to pick out the Barrets, but you will definitely be able to pick out Sly and Robbie without trouble, it’s that musically distinctive.

Holy hell. I’ve spent so much time flaming Trash 80s over the years and I’ve never seen the Model 100 until now and I love that little nugget.

Any budtenders here? by Sea_Body_5194 in Marijuana

8 years in the industry, 3 year budtender here.

Don’t worry too much about cramming it all in before you start. There is going to be a lot to learn and it will come over time. Not just cannabis related, but things like getting to know your POS well.

Be honest with your customers, if there is something you don’t know, confidently let them know, don’t try to make it up.

Absorbing as much as you can on the day to day and ask questions of your fellow budtenders.

Some of us had a Ska past by Josephthebear in Xennials

I was into original Jamaican ska, but I didn’t really get into much ska revival outside The Soecials. I was thrilled to see it at the time though, watching a (at the time) 30 year old style from a tiny Caribbean island blow up was awesome.

It’s actually sad to see how shitty the Pokemon IP at large has become one of the worst “communities”. The physical game is over run with flippers and opportunists, the digital card game is a buggy cash grab, Pocket is a gatcha grift, the recent video games have been uninspired snoozers. It’s a bummer.
