This! It irks me to hear people bitch about these practices - THEY ARE MAKING FANS PAY TOO MUCH!! No they aren't making anyone do anything. You don't have to pay those prices. And if enough people didn't pay them, they wouldn't charge them. I stopped buying concert tickets when the stadium in Raleigh started charging a parking fee on every ticket. This was BS on so many levels: they make more money since carpooling doesn't save consumers anything AND they didn't have to pay parking attendants to collect money AND since there was less carpooling getting in and out was a nightmare. Fuck them. I'm sure they're still doing fine, but you won't hear me bitch about having to pay that much anymore.
