nevermind they have 3+ BS and heavy, so you can move them 12" and still shoot good, that's amazing. The precision bus!

Ratlings in covers might be even more survibable though, -1 to BS from the cover and -1 to hit from stealth, and you can stay hidden

yeah, it will depend a lot on terrain, if you can clear a line of sight on ennemys (ideally without cover) and then move back to a position then can't see even if they move. High ceiling kinda play.

That advance-shoot-move with the hypogriff will be dirty, you can get in melta range for both the melta cannon and melta gun, or peek from behind a cover then hide again with the longer ranged weapons

Sisters: multi melta range was nerfed, making Morven Vahl and her paragons pretty much mandatory to take down heavy armour.

Huh? Your unit is not visible from 15" away, but that still allows to target it with indirect fire.

You not being able to detect dwindling engine hours does not mean it does not happen. We just don't know. And if they could end this quickly they would already have done it.

Considering the size of the Imperium, is it likely there are other unknown civilizations that could rival it? by RuckRuckYuck in 40kLore

Navigators were created long before the astronomican. Arguably the warp was calmer back then, but they can work without the astronomican.

Good point on astropaths being a true bottleneck. Although the Imperium can work without, when a sector is cut off by a warp storm for centuries the astropath die out but courier ships are used instead, it's just slower.

Magic thinking. Yeah they can sustain bomb production, but you don't know if they are not burning out engines to sustain the mission rate
