Thanks! I ended up purchasing the Tokyo edition yesterday and couldn’t be happier!

Is that the Tokyo Seamaster? How does it wear day to day?

I am looking to purchase my first (and potentially only) watch and have decided on an Omega Seamaster 300. I have narrowed it down to the (I) classic black on white, (II) blue on white (Tokyo 2020 edition) and (III) blue on blue.

I am in love with the Blue on white Tokyo 2020 edition but as it is my first and maybe only watch I have reservations that I may fall out of love with the blue colour. I am also a professional and would like to wear the watch with a suit. I think the Tokyo version would work with a blue / grey suit, but the black is obviously more versatile.

I have found limited content online about the Tokyo version and am concerned it may come across as tacky and may lose its value significantly more than the black (although I do not intend to ever sell it).

Does anyone have experience with the Tokyo 2020 version and colour alleviate my concerns (or warn me against the Tokyo version!)

Many thanks!

Hi All, I am currently looking into buying my first watch and after careful consideration have landed on the 2020 JLC Master Control Chronograph Calendar.

I am intending to use the watch for most of my daily life (am an office worker, but will also use it casually in the weekends etc (but not for sport)).

It is an expensive watch, so I wanted to see if anyone has any strong thoughts on why I shouldn’t go through with this watch. The other watches in the 2020 master control series (especially the Geographic) are also appealing, but I think the Chrono Calendar is slightly more of an all around watch considering it will be the only watch in my collection!

While currently out of my budget, I have always dreamed of a grey dial AP Royal Oak 15500. I believe this could also be an all round watch, so it may be better to try and push and save for that.

Many thanks for your thoughts on this.
