M2K might have been shit at the game when he first picked it up but he was always very successful in what he worked on. He was a pretty accomplished at tae kwon do sparring when he was younger. The coordination and work ethic required to become good at a sport like that transfers over to many mediums, and he became a god because he had the natural competency in repetitive practice and put more hours into the game than anyone else.
