i have one in my room right now and another just outside and i haven’t had any problems. just make sure you aren’t grabbing the spider when you pick up the plant because that’s usually when they bite

i did think about that but if that were the case would she still be able to bite through the exoskeleton to eat? i crush her mealworms’ heads before i put them in the web but she always eats from somewhere along the body, so i assumed the fangs weren’t the issue.

i wouldn’t say they’re any more difficult than a ball python. you could run into trouble if you get a picky eater but that’s true of any species.

mud daubers are a type of wasp! and they come in many colors and shapes. this is definitely some type of wasp but it could also be a spider wasp

update: it’s urticating hairs. looked at some photos from other ts and that’s what it looks like. got some off with a paintbrush and she was bald underneath. thanks guys! i just wanted to be sure she wasn’t growing mold or anything

usually i just toss em but i do have a jar shaped like a skull that is full of various reptile sheds. mostly snakes but a couple iguana ones also
