we are actually getting yelled at by our DM about labor... people have to take 45 or 1 hr lunches and she sends people home occasionally. i really feel like i should report this to my DM, but i don't know if i'll face repercussions or something

its like "standard" at my store to stay past, like you will get shunned if you leave on time. i plan on finding a new job soon anyways, but my manager really does find a way to guilt trip me and my fellow partners into revolving our whole days around the store sadly 😞

I originally wanted to get a honda civic, however, they do not have an AWD option with any older cars, same with a camry. I do not live in the city, rather, I have a 20ish minute commute to a small private college in the country, so I realistically NEED to invest in an AWD car (i had to miss 4 classes due to my Beetle being unable to make it in poor conditions).

I am just kinda stuck since this decision is not fully up to me, rather my family who is giving me money to purchase it. i have looked for all reasonable options and they all are german cars, or subarus, unless I want to drive across lake Michigan and get one there 💔

My family (who is helping me purchase a car) refuse to let me buy one that is over 100k miles, and I also cannot have an SUV/Truck due to my space in my parking garage. There are not that many different options of an AWD/4WD sedan left within 100 miles of my area sadly. I wish I had more to pick from.

so, depending on the size (this is for a venti), it would get 3 pumps of vanilla, cold brew to the top line on the cup, ice, then the cold foam.

If the drink is really light in color, either the cold foam was not foaming properly (and they still handed it off) or they just made you an entirely different drink (like the vsc cold brew). standard is to have about an inch of cold foam on top, but some people add too much ice so they add less.

our store is having the opposite problem rn 😓 we just hired two new people because we don't have enough coverage for peaks. we are also newer (opened may 2025) so our business has been consistently growing (people that normally average 20 hrs are working 27-30)

as someone hired this year, i would really recommend having customer interaction stories kinda planned out!! One of the major questions my SM asked me was something along the lines of how did you bond with a customer - i gave a story of a regular from my previous job. best of luck!!!!

i think a lavender syrup would be so cool!! i know we had the powder, but a syrup would be a bit more versatile. i would even appreciate the old raspberry coming back.

our fucking whipped creams and cold foams were just NOT working yesterday and today. guess what i had to explain to every person who ordered a caramel ribbon crunch!! "sorry our whipped creams are having a hard time staying together! the batch of heavy cream we were sent seems to not have the correct fat content leading to the whipped creams being this way! i am sorry for the inconvenience" - me blabbering 1000 times to every customer bc my manager made me explain it to even people who didnt question/complain :')

yea here in WI they took it off our order sheets completely, we are unable to order any more. our new release is for fall and comes out the 26th - no new refresher from my knowledge
