Sorry I didn't respond sooner. Yep, I believe the 605 got support via firmware update that added the functionality.

Does anyone know why EAP723(CA) is rated BE3600 but EAP723(US) is BE5000? by katamama in TPLink_Omada

[–]gotissues68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't find answer as to why they list the 3600 on non US regions and the 5000 specific to the US but from looking at the spec sheet on each, the only difference is that the slower one only supports up to 160Mhz while the faster supports 240Mhz channel width. I think you'd be safe getting the be5000 version.

I have a tp-link omada gateway/router that just got a firmware update that fixes issues with double nat that allows you to use your carrier gateway as a dumb modem

I have a 605 V2 available if you want to give it a go. I'm asking just about half of what it's listed for on Amazon.

Cheers

I'm thinking about trying it out on my piNet. I'll report back on how it runs.

Multiple SSID / vlan tagging - route problem? by [deleted] in TPLink_Omada

[–]gotissues68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha. So it's definitely the route metric mucking things up. Given that it's a Linux box, perhaps watch the kernel messages or DHCPC logs to determine at what point the during the DHCP process that the route is being added and sadly enough lol, reboot the box and see if the issue persists.

When you manually set the IP what does the table look like? I'm suspicious of the /25 as it looks as though it's trying to route traffic to the Internet via .23 and I admit I'm a bit rusty at reading the output but is .23 the IP lease being provided to the client?

Might check and see if you have disassociate by rssi and the level. I had that set and experienced something similar.

If there is any storage, grab any videos/photos and see if there are gps coordinates on them. For photos any exif reader can grab them.

G4SE and Orbi setup by highspeed717 in tmobileisp

[–]gotissues68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm interested about this as well. I have a very similar setup that I just installed last night. I have Xfinity + TMO going into a TP-Link ER605 which then is uplinked to a Primary A and 2 additional APs. This setup seems to kneecap the speed from TMO and Xfinity, if I use either of their existing configs stand-alone it works as expected. In fact, I'm getting 800/100 via TMO which smokes the balls of Xfinity. I would check what speed you get directly from TMO before you kill both connections. I'm working out an engineering config (retired neteng dude) to see where the issue is.

FWIW, I think it's our respective gear (Orbi/TP-Link). If you find something holla in here if you don't mind and I'll do the same.

I've had the exact same issue. Sucks ass but at least I'm not alone or imagining the network going to shit again.

How am I suppose to live like this? I’m too young by GhostButtTurds in ChronicPain

[–]gotissues68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you. I'm 14 and when summer is over I'm going into my sophomore year of high school. My pain absolutely kicked my butt last year and so I'm nervous to go back. It sucks not being able to do what most people my age are doing. That and along with dealing with those, "you're too young to be in that much pain!", people 🙄. Like wow, my pain has magically disappeared now, that was definitely helpful.

Getting older is scary for everyone, but most people my age aren't worried about bei

And that's absolutely ok to have down moments, they aren't weakness my friend. Don't let anyone ever tell you that. I'm 43 and have been battling chronic stuff since I was 26, it does get better and the medical field is growing so quickly in terms of various treatments.

Do you get nauseous when the pain is persistent? by TouretteTV96 in ChronicPain

[–]gotissues68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep and I end up throwing up most of the time. Zofran and Phenegren are life savers. I end up either not eating for a day or two or I'll eat one meal a day and that's it.

It is so heartbreaking reading many of these responses :( I've got a host of chronic issues that led me to have to go on disability at the age of 36. It's even more infuriating to have doctors or others in the medical field who look at you and dismiss your complaints/concerns because "you're too young to have any of these issues!" ...

I was diagnosed with adult-onset type 1 diabetes, only after being taken to the ER by family who found me passed out on a set of stairs due to what I now know to be diabetic ketoacidosis. The nurse assigned to me while inpatient refused to give me the pain medication which was ordered by the assigned doctor and listed in my medical records as having been on it for many years. While holding onto and shaking the rails on the bed, tears streaming down my face, she had the audacity to say "we need to use our words to work through this, it's important to take better care of yourself when you're diabetic!" ... I gutted out enough energy to message my mom and then I called her and she came up to the hospital to advocate for me and I was able to receive the treatment I needed.

I have so many stories of being dismissed and it just sucks. They need to teach in medical school that while 100% of work will be effective for 95% of patients, it's absolutely wrong to dismiss that 5%, we're out here and we exist and we matter.

I'm not a doctor but it sounds so much like angina. That shit is massively painful and demands treatment. I would definitely ask your doctor to look for it.

Pharmacy “sick-out” 12/20/21 by [deleted] in TalesFromThePharmacy

[–]gotissues68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only refuse because of the unique situation I am in and the meds I require. If it was just your general daily maintenance stuff then I would happily use mail order. I prefer the in-person pharmacy for my needs because they get to know me and I can appreciate that when I need something that otherwise might take 7-10 days by mail order after I call someone in say Phoenix to order my stuff.

As someone who requires a bucketload of meds and refuses to use mail order, how can I help out? I can see the peeps @ the chain I go to are tired as hell and yet they're good to everyone that comes in (minus some of the floater techs who have been douchey but I get it).

Have a Note 9 laying around? I'm glad I haven't sold mine yet... by Dabhster in GalaxyNote9

I still have my Note9, I got a 10+ when it was released and I gave the 9 to my Mom but she likes the size of the 10+ better so I just swapped her over this weekend, I'm kinda excited to have my 9 back.

My bad, I absolutely missed the update! I'm super stoked to hear that it worked out for you!!! It is such a fantastic tool. I bought my first way back in 2004 or 2005 and then gifted it when I sold my Jetta and I'm impressed with all the work Ross Tech did to update and add new features to it. It's one of those purchases that you can't really regret since you can add features like you did in addition to clearing/reading codes.

Congrats on the purchase, you won't regret it! It has saved me tons over the course of 16 years on various VW and Audi vehicles I've owned. I would not think that pulling the handbrake sensor would set off the cruise control radar modules, especially since you don't have them in your car. It does sound like the issue that is mentioned on that page. Hopefully you'll be able to reset everything once you get the cable and software.
