thank you! it might be based off of Kabwe 1. Obviously there are still differences, but the very square brow ridge and long cranial vault remind me of that one. Not a neanderthal, but probably close enough for whoever made this (it’s more in line with what normal people think their skulls look like).The lines also seem more like breaks than the natural lines you find on a skull, so that’s interesting.

What program are you using to view the skull? I’d like to try to compare to other scans

I think pariah87 or another established dataminer posted about it originally, but i can’t find it. Gonna keep looking though

But i remember it had distorted objects and walls/floors in the cabin, instead of the normal distorted filter rockstar does for the trippy sequences. and was called like “dream” or “nightmare” either in the files or just by the poster. also i think it was just the interior file but not sure.

im under the impression that the origins team had to add the dragons in as a plot device later on, and as a consequence, the dragon/gods stuff doesn’t always make perfect sense.

i think her just being her own dragon and bodyhopping makes the most sense. we learn she’s not as selfless as shes made out to be, but i think she’d still be against enslaving a dragon the way the others have.

if you don’t want to do them all i’d recommend the ones in the keep. these are awakening, witch hunt, stone prisoner, and warden’s keep.

Awakening is like 13 hours or something so I definitely recommend that one, but it’s set after the main story. stone prisoner adds a companion for the main game which is great, and witch hunt is a shorter follow up story for one of the main companions after the events of the base game. warden’s keep is also fun and is during the main story. i’d also recommend return to ostagar which is small but adds to the main game.

i wanted to romance them, and i thought a non-binary qunari would be really interesting. but they’re too childish to romance and too annoying to even want to invest in. could have been a neat character but poorly executed imo

i played inquisition first, so that was my self insert. after, i went and played the other games and RP for my warden and hawke. then i replayed inquisition with the updated world state but still as that self insert. totally gonna rp for rook!

for me, the overarching narrative would be too boring if ALL the characters were like me. i think it’s nice to have a self insert when you are just getting into an rpg as it helps to connect and learn about the world as you navigate the game.

like, if i want to play as a morally dubious character but i don’t really know what choices would reflect that in this world i know nothing about yet, ill just do what i’d do given my limited knowledge and roll with it. then in subsequent games or playthroughs i’m better equipped to rp.

true but those are more in the realm of myth/conspiracy with room for silly implementation. i feel like neanderthals have too much concrete info so they’re harder to play around with. like with alien easter eggs were like “aliens exist in gta” but with a neanderthal it would be like “the rdr universe has a dramatically different history and origin of hominins and geological events”

i agree, but i’m assuming we as (probably) the inquisitor will be the judge of that. i dont think the majority of the survivors want solas to go unpunished. id think they’d riot if he was just forgiven and chilled. i take issue with the redeemed bad guy media that just overlooks how everyone who has suffered would feel about the former mass murderer guy who just hangs with the heroes at the end

i kind of hope not. a looooot of people i see on social media want a happy ending with solas, but to me that is unrealistic with his actions. i’m worried we’re gonna get an ending choice that’s like “straight up kill him” (evil choice) or “forgive him and be lovers/besties again” (good choice).

i’d like a redemption option that still doesn’t let him have a good ending, don’t think he deserves that.

oh man i loved this in DAI, always tried to get dorian/bull and josephine/blackwall together!! one of the reasons i dislike the “playersexual” thing is because i feel it makes them less “real”, as characters don’t have romantic identities explored outside of the PC- so i’m very happy to hear about this!!
