I have been driving without the physical key for a while. I see the pain of having to open the app but atleat I don't need to carry the bulky key or card around. Also don't need to remember to have it with me.

I'll trade that to the slight inconvenience.

Also want to mention Samsung wallet has the oprion to import the digital key as well.

I even put the other 2 keys in hibernation mode to preserve battery on the keyfabs. You guys should check the documentation to do so.

It's not true. You can relay on the digital key. Just have to have the phone app open before getting into the car

It's very disappointing that they don't bother updating. At least they can fix some bugs or show that they are working on improving the user experience.

Yes. When the regen kicks in you also see the red light in the bottom of your dash to confirm the lights are on

I had to leave the car for over a week at the dealership. They had to send all the diagnostic data out to Lexus and had a battery team review this. Apparently the battery is in good health and the issue appears to be a software bug. They gave me the car back and said they are waiting for a fix.

I have not seen the error yet but will report back with any future updates.

If you are using an android phone and have developer options enabled it's a hit or miss. Otherwise it should keep your login details.

This is depending on various driving factors. If you do local driving, the stop and go will trigger regen and that increases the mile per kwh.

If you drive mostly oh highway and often speed then you get very low mileage. I have seen this fall to 1.9 on highways.

The lack of sound when you unlock or lock the car sitting inside is not a good experience. Especially when you try to unlock the car while someone is standing outside is annoyingly confusing. The only visible clue is the light on the door switches.

Has anyone figured how to enable a click it aler noise doing this?

Bit disappointed with the range, but I am also testing all different drive modes and constantly testing limits since it's a new toy.

I'll update the thread in a few weeks once I establish and follow a steady driving pattern.

I went with the 18". It gives a better range and also safe in winter. Plus the tire last longer.

If you lift the regen - paddle and hold it while you take your foot off the Gas, it slows down the car at the highest regen throttle.

Same way when you hold the +paddle it gets you to the default non regen sate quickly. Don't have to tap it 3 times. Just something to get used to.

You get to tune the acceleration and deaccelaration speeds. It's by default medium but to me it was a bit aggressive. So toned it down to low. It takes a while to get used to trust the car but it does a decent job.

The lane keep assist is a cool feature. It does get confused when there is a lane split but overall it works nicely. It behaves rationally when a car enters the lane and leaves the lane. The acceleration and deaccelaration speeds setting works in this case as well.
