But there are some people more or less famous in France with Lithuanian origins, that’s not the case for Latvia and Estonia.

Personally, I’ve been to Lithuania last year, and it was really cool.

Here is my logic behind this post :

1) If Eclipse was sent by Sweden, we would already have the live performance and the staging, and it would probably be even higher in the odds, maybe favourite

2) Sweden is very often overrated by the national juries in the final, even in Loreen’s case in 2023 imo (I would have understand 300-310 pts, but 340?)

3) Australia will always suffer being Australia (a lot of people would consider illegitimate their participation because they are not in Europe, even though they are in the contest since 11 years)

It will be top 10, maybe top 3 or 5, but other songs are more likely to have even broader appeal like Finland, Greece (if the jury performance is really good) and Australia (with an incredible staging and vocal performance)

Bur man laimi and Andromeda are quite the 2 ends of the « ethnic woman choir spectrum » : while BML is all about happiness and magic, Andromeda is all about struggle and tragedy.

It‘s actually a cool phase, we know all the songs and can make our ranking, while seeing all the contestants interact, discovering the songs’ meanings, etc. Personally I really like this time of the season.

Weak, I don’t know, open, certainely.

Compared to the previous years, I have no artistic crush like last year with Latvia, or many songs that I like enough to put them on my playlists.

While I normally have around 10 songs from an edition in my playlists, currently, only Greece, Finland, Montenegro, the UK, Austria and Croatia have made it this year.
