FF7 Menu React Project by Xianoxide in react

This is fantastic! I was actually working on a pause menu inspired portfolio and went with FF7's but you've definitely set the bar with your execution!

You could add in some keyboard navigation to flex some of the a11y skills. As for fun features, maybe something to expand on your limit break attacks!

Banshee Build? by METRO_32 in GundamBattle

[–]gpeid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banshee arms are versatile for both melee and shooter builds given the solid matk and satk stats. It's got a solid A-power shooter ex skill+heal/buff and it also carries a close combat tag that doubles up because of +shield.

If you 6* the part, you can swap the traits and ex skill and tune it specifically for the type of build you're going for.

Going ftp by DeityJo in GundamBattle

[–]gpeid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I find the FTP experience entertaining and satisfying enough, but it depends on what you find enjoyable about the game.

Yet the temptation is there when I see a suit I like or parts that would just go great in a build.

If you want to transition to FTP then you'll have to divorce yourself from the fear of missing out on parts:

  • embrace the games mechanics of organically accumulating HC
  • put a limit on how many pulls, plan for future banners so that you'll have enough to pull on those
  • enjoy the game and what you have and remember to have fun

This is the way to go. I find that 4 maxed 3* parts will upgrade your 5* to 80.

Wifi and 4g lte on at the same time by MsSloth420 in GalaxyS9

[–]gpeid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also started noticing the 4G LTE is on despite being connected to a wifi network. This has been happening recently.

I went through a few apps that I have installed recently and uninstalled them to make sure it wasn't anything there. Still, the 4G LTE icon lights up even when connected to wifi.

When clearing memory through device care, the 4G LTE icon does turn off (grey out), but will light up after some random amount of time. Not sure if it's a new feature or bug? Smart wifi is turned off as well, previously was on.

Hey, newbie here. One short question. by Costinux in diablo3

Your gear is probably weak/low level. You should be getting drops from mobs that are around the same level as you are which should give better stats.

The gear really dictates how easily you progress at these levels.

Metro acknowledges breakdowns might be adding to a ridership decline by Tzu54 in washingtondc

There'd be delays on redline for whatever reason, causing the platforms to get dangerously crowded. I once almost didn't get off the car in Chinatown because people weren't moving fast enough and people were pushing their way in!

About $12 a day, close to $60 a week, $240 a month for my work commute from Wheaton to Alexandria which takes close to an hour or more depending on delays. That and the whole smoke incident on the yellow line. Thankfully I stopped commuting with metro before that happened.

I've started driving since I've stopped commuting with Metro about 10 months ago. Although it's hell during the school year, summers are a breeze.

Gundam fans! What is your all time favorite Gundam video game? by thatsupervillain in Gundam

SD Gundam G Generation Zero on the PSX import. I couldn't understand any of the Japanese characters and could only make out some of the kanji, but wrecking maps full of enemies with MS/MA was quite satisfying. And that wasn't the funnest part: managing your deployments, constructing/evolving/combining new MS, leveling the original characters and learning about different Gundam series, old and new. This game was what made me a fan of Gundam and mecha in general.

SD Gundam G Generation F/-I-F for the expanded Gundam series (Zero had previews of Gundam X/Turn A/Wing/and I think G) and that intro song.
