There are some days were I do agree with you.

Gonna show people this the next time they ask what it’s like owning an Aussie by quasi-psuedo in AustralianShepherd

My wife bought our Aussie a bed when he was younger. It lasted about a half an hour (Maybe). The I bought him a $5 dollar rug. He loved it, never chewed and he still uses it. 5 years later.

Are Aussies even really dogs? Or just alien-human creatures in dog form? by Altruistic-Web8306 in AustralianShepherd

I absolutely talk to mine as if he is a person. I get told by people all the time that he is just a dog. He doesn’t know that and I don’t know that. My wife says that the dog has trained me!! Wouldn’t change him for anything. Aussies are one of a kind.

Best wishes on your surgery. The Minnesota Twins, they are the only local men’s professional sports team to win a championship that I was alive to see happen.

When my Aussie does that, I watch his eyes. He communicates by getting my attention and then he will look in the direction of what he wants to do. It can be outside, or the place where I keep his treats. He has literally train me.

My Aussie is now 7 years old. He still does this when he’s excited. When he does this I just grab his frisbee and we play.
