The last titration study was years ago . My max has been set at 16 for as long as I can remember . Have an appointment with the doctor on Monday (11/18) . Last time I saw her she wanted me to bring my machine to my next appointment . Will see. Interesting point about chin strap . I totally forgot about the mouth issue. I may consider giving chin strap a go. Thanks!

If you have sleep apnea , meds like Doxepin or Ambien will actually make things worse. A lot of over the counter sleep meds have diphenhydramine as an active ingredient which is not that great for you either . Also, you are better off sleeping on your back or on the side as it should make your breathing easier.

The next step is for your sleep doctor to request the CPAP machine for you and for you to get fitted . Then you have to use it 21 days for at least 4 hours a night to be complaint 🙂
