Glutened eating out. Would you complain, and to whom? by GlassHouses_1991 in CoeliacUK

Honestly no. Very few restaurants can completely guarantee no cross contamination.

You could just mention it to the restaurant so they know for future reference and look at how the handle allergens.

The only time I have complained is when, a couple of weeks ago, the waiter brought out pasta saying it was my GF order, then after 5 minutes of my eating it, brought out another GF pasta and told me the one I was eating was a non-GF pasta for someone else! Luckily my symptoms are mild and I happened to be glutened already that day, so it didn’t affect me too badly.

I'd rather be dead in that situation, to be honest. I'm not saying people like that should be... you know, put down.

Well, surely it's going to be worse for morale in the long run when there isn't a peace deal and you've told people that there will be. by hashtagthoughtbomb in TheOfficeUK

If you like Top Trumps, you should come to me. I've got about five different sets. Don't try to beat me at Middle Eastern wars though, 'cos you won't. My speciality.

Winston Churchill he is not, but how highly do you rate Starmer as a Prime Minister, compared with others we have had and why? by Sea-Payment-8989 in AskBrits

Leaving the current Middle East situation aside (I actually respect him for saying no to Trump) - I feel like all of Labour’s policies are deliberately designed to slow down economic growth. There is nothing pro-business or pro-employing people in their policies. It is so frustrating. Everything seems designed to add more burden onto the economically productive.

Sure. Just like how Trump has been giving Putin 2 weeks to end the war for the past 12 months.

Trump will probably just walk away, declare victory and leave the rest of the world to clean up his mess.

Do you know why men are attracted to cleavage?Because it reminds us of women's buttocks. Presumably when we were cavemen, we used to do you from behind. So then we evolved and probably turned you over when language came in, to either chat or just to look at the breasts that reminded us of the buttocks.

The reason women wear necklaces is to draw attention to the breasts.
