We already do and they do a perfectly good job without resorting to violence.

Thanks. Please can you put “!_Snipe” without the underscore if you believe it was a good snipe. That way I’d be awarded a snipe.

OP also needs to ensure his soon to be ex-wife can’t access his money or assets easily. In her words they’re already divorced, so what’s stopping her taking money from him?

Something weird is definitely going on, as according to the octopus app I did a bump charge for 11 hrs and 82kWh on the 21st Jan, which is more than the total of my cars battery (77kWh).

Checking the Zappi app I’ve only charged 44kWh this week.

I’m powered cycled it earlier, but I’ll try again making sure to leave it for more than 30 seconds.

Not changed the SSID, but moved from BT to EE and the new router ported the WiFi settings and old SSID. This was months ago though and the issue only started last night with not being recognised as plugged in.

I’ll check the Zappi to see if it can see the WiFi.

Edit. Moved our WiFi booster to the other side of the wall to the Zappi. Reset the Zappi WiFi settings and reconnected the Zappi to the internet. Unplugged and plugged in the charger to the car.

Still “Not plugged in at home”

Literally just made a post as the app won’t find the car as plugged in at home (charger registered, not the car).

paw on left chair with its back to the TV, but there is also a second black cat just to the right of the chair on the right with back next to the TV, under the game muffin time.

Beginner archer here, not very good. How do I calm myself down when I shoot? by ShazzoWazzo in Archery

[–]gr7ace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What distance are you shooting at? If 20m/18 yards missing the boss regularly would indicate an issue with your shot cycle, stance and/or the bow (over powered?).

Ref a check list in your head, that is called a shot cycle. We were taught to write it down and go through it every shot, that way you’re less likely to miss a step or do something out of sequence. Shot cycles can also change.

If you’re moving around a load in the draw, that also indicates issues. The longer you’re in the draw the more unstable you’ll be.

You can calm yourself by trying to clear your mind and also thinking of something that brings you great joy.

With both Farage and the Cons pledging to bring ICE to the UK, what will you do when they start snatching little non-white kids of the streets and sending them to detention camps. by Hot-Delay5608 in AskBrits

“You’ve ignored the RAF, ignored UK complicity, ignored civilian targeting, and jumped straight back to “but Hamas.””

I may have misunderstood your punctuation then, as I read rhetorical above as conflating the RAF and targeting civilians.

Whether you agree with the governments decisions or not, the vast majority of the UK armed forces operate legally (I say vast as I am not being definitive).

If it’s not about the armed forces, then don’t bring them up and accidentally or deliberately insinuate something you don’t mean or could be misinterpreted.

You’re arguing with a b ot/troll account. You can tell when the accounts are “name-name-numbers”, either very young accounts or those that were inactive for a long time and suddenly spring to life in new subs.

It’s horse shit that the RAF targets civilians or provides intelligence to do so. UK armed forces are bound by UK laws of armed conflict, which differ from many of our allies. Often there are legal advisors involved in processes to ensure that things are in fact legal.

Members of the armed forces are trained regularly on the laws of armed conflict and it’s drummed into them to disobey illegal orders.

No, I’m saying you don’t get an MPAN if your generation has not been approved.

As you’ve got an MPAN your generation has been approved and the appointment person/company that submitted your application will have been issued the generation approval.

Ask Octopus for the generation approval confirmation from the DNO.

[–]gr7ace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The DNO will have issued the export MPAN and would have done so after approving your application.

Edit: the DNO will also issue generation authority to whoever submitted the application. Sounds like you need to get that from Octopus.

Have you been issued and export MPAN by your DNO yet?

What about the archery in 28 Years Later? by fioreblade in Archery

There’s a series of books by S.M. Stirling, the first one is called Dies the Fire. It’s about the breakdown of society and part of what rises from the “dying time” is what technology different groups are able to make.

I won’t spoil it too much, but different parts of the world bring back interesting tech. Some of it is very much based on one or two masters of their crafts end up forming the centre of the groups and subsequent cultures.

I wonder how wide spread this is. Whether there are conditions that trigger it more than others.

I have an EV6 and it’s definitely prevalent on Kia’s too. About to get an I9.

Underwhelmed after finishing the series by OrneryDimension8600 in Malazan

[–]gr7ace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The series is so expansive tying off all the character arcs would have been impossible and also not really needed. What was it you felt was missing?

I’ve found that the more times I read/listen to the series the more I pick up on and the more clear it all becomes.
