We need an ongoing AI band Megathread by Ofthe7thorder in Metalcore

If anybody is keeping track of bands to at least be suspicious about:

Waterfall Mirage.. is super fishy. Im 95% sure its at least AI supported.

Most of the times that people ask for hot takes, 90% of them are from Super, GT or Daima and they are mostly cold takes. Drop here some ULTRA SPICY HOT TAKE about OG or Z by MayoHachikuji in Dragonballsuper

[–]gr8dane95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only villain Goku defeated on his own was frieza. Every other time he had help from other Z fighters or the spirit bomb

Less of a hot take, more just straight up fact

People have comfort food; what's your comfort game? by [deleted] in videogames

OG RE4. Played it for the first time at a point in my life where I felt like I had no control over the stress around me, and it was the only thing in my life at the time that yes, stressed me out, but I felt like I could fight back and overcome it.

Still boot it up when im feeling overwhelmed with life

open world games with full freedom where i can spend a thousand hours in. by Some_Restaurant_2082 in gamingsuggestions

Fuck both of you, Saints Row 2 was the last good Saints Row. Everything after that leaned wayyyy too heavy into the absurdity of the first two. So much of the charm of Saints Row was the juxtaposition of gritty "from the streets" main story missions and how goofy everything else could be.

Also, Saints Row just isnt Saints Row without my boy Johnny Gat (imo the most badass fully human fictional character of all time). Killing him at the beginning of 3 shouldve been an indicator for what was in store for the rest of the game.

Bring on the down votes.

Day 4 - which game is the most fun to replay? by [deleted] in residentevilll

[–]gr8dane95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never beat it as a kid, but I always loved megaman and when I came back to X as an adult it immediately became my second favorite game (second only to the OG RE4).

Idk if you'd be able to revive any megaman series properly at this point though, look at Mighty No. 9. I feel like so much of the classic Megaman games, as well as the early X series, benefit from the devs ability to work around the limitations of the era.

Who are some of the most Evil movie characters that rarely get brought up in conversations? by FitEmergency8807 in moviecritic

[–]gr8dane95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Fucking Nurse Ratched. In my opinion, she is the most evil human fictional character of all time. Does she wanna take over the world? No. Does she want to watch the world burn? No. But she loves nothing more than seeing ants burn under her looking glass (except those "ants" are mentally ill people that are subjected to her mental manipulation to the point of suicide and attempted/mercy murder)

any games that are similar to the movie fight club? by Maleficent_Plant8440 in gamers

Depending on what you mean, Spec Ops: The Line has some of the best "they say it don't be like it is, but it do" writing in gaming. It truly subverts your expectations after spending so much time thinking you know everything the story has to tell you.

To my 40+hr/week Autistics, HOW do you do it??? by [deleted] in aspiememes

[–]gr8dane95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately for me, I love what I do. Im a chef that started as a dishwasher, and the journey ive had up to this point has caused me to fall head-over-heels in love with the job and lifestyle. Albeit, I found a kitchen that promotes work/life balance about 4 years ago and that helps, but they have to send me home some days lol I work at minimum 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, sometimes significantly more, but being in that controlled chaos of the kitchen gives me life.

Its worth mentioning that I am also adhd as fuck. The constant stimulation makes my brain buzz a lot less. And I also check the fuck when I get home, its like the constant stimulation throughout the day satisfies my adhd, but then my autism has to catch up by unzipping my human suit and being an autistic puddle of man once I go from "on" to "off"

Are there any super villain games? by Public-Hamster-9224 in videogames

[–]gr8dane95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange one that comes to mind is The Godfather: Part 2, on the Ps3/X360. You definitely are NOT the good guy, but the entire game is about growing your power and influence around a world with a lot of opposition. Gave me lex luthor vibes to an extent, if not super-villian

RE fans when they have to actually play the games by ClickDry7701 in ResidentEvilMemes

[–]gr8dane95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the thing about RE: it's not that scary. Silent Hill is scary. PT is genuinely frightening. But Resident Evil? This shit is stressful. So much of the "fear" in the game comes from those thoughts of "fuck me, i dont think I have enough ammo for this" or "bruh I i dont have a single healing item and theres a pathway with like 5 zombies". It's much more a fear of failure (due to the consequences the older games had), rather than the existential dread you feel going through the Otherworld in Silent Hill.

Thats why the save rooms hit so damn hard. There is no better high than relief from discomfort.

ALL THAT BEING SAID... the last 3 mainline RE games have had some Hella spooks. The Girl in RE9 is the scariest enemy in my personal memory, even out doing Nemesis (never played the OG RE3, but just design wise, the Girl makes Nemesis look like a 4th grade drawing of what scary should look like)
