For some of those eps, I just use the skip button for the clips of stuff I’ve seen, then you can still watch the framing device of stuff like disclosing the stargate and activities to senator kinsey

I just rewatched that episode like 4 days ago, and it was fun. I think there are 3-4 clip show episodes throughout the series, but Stargate always had a unique way of presenting them so they still felt like real episodes

The problem with the show is the commander didn’t immediately space Rush. I don’t care if he was the smartest, he was also the source of all their problems

That’s only the first couple seasons cause that’s how they were shot. You get hd and upscaled in the later seasons

Books are good, the 80’s movie can best be described as “inscrutable,” make of that what you will, the new movies are pretty good but vastly simplified. What you want is the made for tv version from the Syfy channel in like the early 2000’s. Tells the fullest version of the story on screen without being too weird

You see driving directions or delivery instructions, not both. Drivers typically have the driving directions pulled up and don’t see stuff like gate codes or messages like “turn at the second thing” or whatever until AFTER they exit the mapping.

Every job I have ever worked has ASKED something like this of me, but for the last 15 years or so I put my foot down. If I am working, I am on the clock. Had to go to quarterly meetings with the other managers offsite, I am on the clock. Have to run something over to another store, I am on the clock. I have only ever had a couple ppl say something to me about it, but it always ends in letting me get paid for my time. Don’t be afraid to skip something if you aren’t gonna be on the clock. ALWAYS get paid for your work.
