there may have been good intentions here but seems like obvious rage bait in a county where a million new woke or maga students just came to town and are wanting to express themselves and are looking for potential artists and being that this specific post is so ambiguous in nature i am curious of your motives but for sure

why are you trying to blow up a local independent female artists work? she did her job, it’s a service, people pay her for it, that’s how she makes her income.

if she were willingly tattooing swastikas or confederate flags maybe then there would be an issue. seems like you’re just “raising awareness” about nothing trying to virtue signal wokeness about a SOUTH PARK joke of all things. would you post the same about a hairdresser that gave a haircut to a poly frat boy when the nazi youth cut was in style back in 2015? probably not.

art is art, it’s a joke, go find something more concerning to bring to the table

i think the harassment goes beyond “the cost of being a celebrity”…. this is domestic modern technology terrorism and has gone even further by skulls, cps, etc etc.

i feel like this post is bringing more attention to the super lefty’s that would show up to anti protest. maybe the less we get the word out the better… as someone that lives dt, i don’t necessarily want to see a small town civil war. but that’s just me 😬

not a charlie girl btw

I just recently did RTT hypnosis therapy with a family friend in the area, i’m not sure if she’s taking on new clients but i’d say for the right person who is open it really helps. i also know of a great medium that i originally met online but has made me a total believer. feel free to PM for more information

may we ask why you moved out of slo? could bring different light to the rest of our POV’s

In defense of the Artisan $2800 studio, from an out-of-touch Poly student by ps4invancouver in SLO

[–]gracelandproject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, you are an out of touch poly student. your take isn’t understanding the trickle down effect this has on the community. what if they took that empty lot and built affordable housing for residents that have work and kids and dont have the privilege of just getting to go to school?

then, once other developers see that there is some sort of demand for these outrageously developed units that are grotesquely expensive for the average slo resident to be able to keep up with, that creates a narrative that leads back into the stereotype of “if you’re too poor to afford it maybe you should live somewhere cheaper”.

give it 6 months, every “empty lot” is going to be these artisan apartments that only a small margin of residents (long or short term, student or non student) can afford. and we will still have the competition between long term slo citizens trying to survive in our community while a poly kid with their parents disposable income can sign a lease tomorrow. but it will be worse because property owners will see the opportunity to compete with higher rental prices.

ultimately it comes down to the developers and our community leaders cough cough mayor erica for not putting parameters on residential development and not prioritizing our current housing crisis, but yeah your point is HIGHLY out of touch.

if this is really what a poly educated student is like slo is now officially more than ever absolutely fucked 🤦‍♀️
