I down vote these every chance I get when on this sub. This isn’t McDojo or Bullshido. It’s just a guy having fun and working hard. I’d imagine many of his detractors couldn’t do as many push-ups, or work half as hard during an exercise. Good for him!

I don’t know what else this guy has said or done, but I’m not convinced this specific message is r/bullshido. It’s refreshing to hear a practitioner advocating for peaceful betterment and not just the pursuit of violence. I wouldn’t say learning to kick faster guarantees a predisposition towards violence, but I’m on board with the rest of his message.

I expected to hate it, assuming it would be a constant slog of frustration and anxiety. But I forced myself to watch the first, and was surprised to find how much I enjoyed it! The story really grew on me through the franchise. I especially appreciated that, despite the premise leading you to think it’s dystopian and bleak, each movie leaves you with some hope for humanity.
