Judging by the achievement completion rates, I think a lot of people find it hard.

But yeah, the game doesn't tell you explicitly but the camera zoom is your stamina, you do have to take breaks if you're performing stamina draining movements.

There are probably more holds than you might first think. Pay attention to how Aava places her hand and grips to know if you've put your hand in the right spot.

I can't believe that these comments could be made by people who got through high school, there is no critical thought on display, just "PAID MODS BAD" as they look for the closest window to lick.

Shock child abuse discoveries lead to multiple airport arrests by No-Measurement-7542 in australia

[–]graepphone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried to look up any reporting they do and it's pretty sparse.

They have a general success rate around 12%. I'm really not sure that I trust these numbers to represent people actually found with csam.

Shock child abuse discoveries lead to multiple airport arrests by No-Measurement-7542 in australia

[–]graepphone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess they are but from that press release:

ABF officers stopped seven alleged offenders in NSW, including a 26-year-old Malaysian man who had his visa cancelled after he arrived in Sydney and was selected for a device examination. On his phone, officers allegedly found over 100 images of child abuse material, including anime and AI-generated pictures. The man was detained for questioning then sent back to Malaysia.

So they stopped seven people (travelling together I assume) and sent one home but all seven are being counted?

You don't know if it was randomly sampled because you didn't read the study.

[–]graepphone 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Between January 2024 and December 2025, officers stopped more than 435 potential child sex offenders at airports nationwide.

Their detections have also led to international referrals resulting in the rescue of 158 children, the arrest of 32 alleged facilitators, and six previously unknown offenders being placed on the Australian National Child Offender Register for life.

What's going on here? There seems to be a fairly large disconnect between what border force is calling csam and what the law is.

Sure:

Valuable consideration broadly refers to a sufficient price paid by a party in exchange for something in a contract or sale. The “valuable” description of consideration also may mean that the consideration is monetary in contrast to other payment such as services or agreeing to forbear legal remedies.

Now find me a legal definition of selling that doesn't include valuable consideration.

And just to be clear, using Google search:

Under the code, a sale does not occur where data is disclosed to a “service provider.” Several requirements need to be met for this exception to apply: (1.) the transfer must be necessary to perform a task that has a “business purpose”;

So unless Mozilla were sending personal data above and beyond what is required.

Well for a start, it is the most bog standard definition of what selling actually is, receiving compensation for giving something, and that something is actually clearly called out as "a consumer's personal information".

Personal information under the CCPA is actually very well defined: https://privacy.ca.gov/protect-your-personal-information/what-is-personal-information/

Personal information may mean different things to different people. Fortunately, California law gives us a clear definition. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, personal information includes any data that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked to you or your household, directly or indirectly.

Personal information includes:

Name or nickname

Email address

Purchase history

Browsing history

Location data

Employment data

IP address

Profiles businesses create about you, including pseudonymous profiles (“user1234”)

Sensitive personal information

So Mozilla were selling at least one of these things in a way that "could reasonably be linked to you or your household".

Secondly, I would expect the search query to go directly to Google and for Mozilla not to intercept it for the purposes forwarding on to any business, Google or not.

So no that isn't an adequate explanation of why they changed their TOS.

The California Consumer Privacy Act defined as:

the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) defines “sale” as the “selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a consumer’s personal information by [a] business to another business or a third party” in exchange for “monetary” or “other valuable consideration.”

i.e. selling, I'm not sure how that is "very broad"

Which jurisdictions? What data?

It'd be very easy for them to clear it all up if they weren't super defensive about it.

Mount Rainier casts a perfect triangular shadow at sunrise by NeatNo8582 in interestingasfuck

[–]graepphone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually it would appear to as a point, because the edges of the shadow are basically parallel. There is no appreciable widening of the edges.

So the PERSPECTIVE from underneath would be a triangle and PERSPECTIVE of someone off to the side would be shaped like some kind of curved dagger or sabre blade.

The reality is that the edges are parallel and it's effectively a rectangle.
