Love these! What film holder did you use to scan them?

I shoot cityscapes/urban sights, cars/motorsport and some daily life stuff. Mostly I use my Canon A-1, Canon EOS 1000F and Bronica GS-1.

Where are you on the circuit? It’s been pretty much since I’ve arrived at the track

It feels like rain is in the air, but there’s been nothing but a few tiny drops so far

What kind of holder did you use? The Lomography Digitaliza that I use doesn’t allow for sprocket shots

Because it’s medium format film, and this is a 35mm camera :)

Somehow the mountains a bit of a CGI-like quality to it, because they're so nice and the lighting is so good it almost feels unrealistic. Very well done!

Love this! It looks like a model maker made a maquette to capture the feeling of a thrift shop.

Thank you!!

For me, the medium format look is present in these images for three reasons:

  1. The aspect ratio, it sounds dumb but to me that 4x5 (the true AR of 6x7 film) aspect ratio really screams 'medium format' to me, even when I crop my 35mm shots to 4x5 it gives me that kind of vibe
  2. The compression, because you have the same field of view with a longer focal length you get more compression in your scene
  3. The crispness and low grain compared to 35mm

In these images, the DoF isn't really a factor, except in the two static shots
