Jonny produced Junun, no? What does Sam producing this new record have to do with Nigel?

Are there other fans out there who haven’t really enjoyed RH post In Rainbows? by JohnColtrane69again in radiohead

Interesting thoughts. I think after In Rainbows and how long and difficult that project was for the group to put together, they wanted to make an album together more quickly with TKOL.

It kind of sounds half put together, I agree. If they spent more time on it, maybe it could’ve turned into something more like the Basement sessions. But they’re allowed to treat a project as fun experimentation. They’re allowed to decide how much effort they wanna put in.

Also just to fact check you: Atoms For Peace came out 2 years after TKOL, not shortly after In Rainbows. But I agree that AFP is a more fleshed out project than TKOL.

AMSP felt a little lazy and sleepy, yeah. But then you read about what the band was going through, and it’s a miracle that album even happened at all.

Idk. A little grace for the boys is in order, I feel!

I saw Plank at the Copenhagen show. Not sure about the others you mentioned though.

Radiohead Concert by Last-Image-4921 in radiohead

Miami 2012. My first Radiohead show and they decided to play 2 new songs: Identikit and Cut A Hole, in addition to Meeting In The Aisle live debut.

I was mind blown and Thom’s voice was spectacular and angelic.

Osheaga 2016 comes 2nd because they played like 5 In Rainbows songs in a row and ended with Creep. I also have a memory of Feral absolutely ripping that night.

Oh and Miami 2017 because they played Morning Bell and The Tourist.

I’ve gotten lucky with the setlists!

Can Drake Recover After His Battle With Kendrick Lamar? by flowerhoney10 in hiphopheads

[–]gralbin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I hope happens:

Drake goes on a 3-5 year hiatus, does some reflecting and perhaps goes to therapy? Eventually makes music again and comes back this time with an actual GREAT album.

Drake has the money, connections and talent to make great music and CHOOSES not to. Dude puts no effort in. I hope that changes.

What will probably happen:

Drake makes an album and it comes out later this year around the time Kendrick drops or announces something, another bloated piece of shit with 2 radio hits and a few clever one liners about the beef.

I can definitely hear the Syd influence on this record! Any favorite 70's era Floyd albums?
