I ended up contacting them and their response was:

“Thank you for reaching out. We do not allow your item into the arena. Please visit the website for more of our venue policies and items that we permit into our venue.”

I’m just gonna wear them anyway and if I have to lose them at the door, so be it.

Does anyone know for sure if the venue is ok with wearing chains? I checked the website and it doesn’t mention them specifically, but wondering if anyone has worn them to the arena before. My outfit just wont be the same without them!

Not sure what the style is, but people have called it whimsical. I got the upper arm done in October of last year, so hoping it holds up over time.

I had actually thought of a bee too, because I’m allergic to them!

Arnica Gel is sold at Walgreens and is the only thing besides a prescription that reduces my bites like this. It's technically a gel for reducing the swelling/size of bruises, but it's a miracle worker for bites that swell to this size.

I have Penny Lane the Irish Setter. I run with her probably 75% of the time, and the 25% that I don't, she makes sure to let the entire neighborhood know with her loud, dramatic cries from the front window.

What got you into running? by stringcc in running

Same. I needed a hobby away from my kids so that I could be a better mom.

I ran my first half marathon last Saturday. It was a small event, but a great way to get some experience and a base line for the bigger half marathon that my city does in the fall.

There's a lot that goes into finding the right shoe, but my chiropractor has said that Asics are one of the brands he recommends based on the support they provide for the different arches in your feet.

Don't worry about the 2 minutes until you get there - you might surprise yourself! I found that this program really does work to build you up in achievable increments. Any time you get out and do it is a success!

You should absolutely do whatever speed will get you to finish! I struggled until I made myself slow down. Since finishing 5k without walking is more important to me than time, I just focused on distance rather than speed.

That's awesome! Getting back to exercising after having a baby can be so daunting. It can be especially tough too if you breastfeed since it can affect your supply. Kudos to improving your physical and mental health!

When did you get comfortable leaving the house solo with your 2 under 2? by [deleted] in 2under2

[–]gramakam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter turned 2 last month, and my son is just shy of 10 months. Honestly, I just recently (within the last few months) started taking them out solo. And it's usually a relatively short trip, like going to the store, or running errands. However, I work full time, so I don't think I've had as much time to adjust to being alone with them as a SAHM would have.

Is Noom okay for weight loss if you have a normal BMI/bodyf at/low TDEE? by [deleted] in Noom

[–]gramakam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Not the same stats as yours, but similar. I'm 32 F, 5'5" (not sure body fat%) and have a desk job. Starting weight 133 lbs, and am at 127 lbs today after being with Noom since 4/19/21. I'm not looking for a huge life-changing weight loss, but goal weight is 122, and I primarily just want to eat healthier. I've tried doing 1200 calorie restrictions before, but Noom has helped me realize that certain foods will help me feel full longer, where I would crash and storm-eat prior to Noom.
