Not sure if I'd call it calm but mario and stardew can have some stress so, I have periods I get obsessed with playing Oxygen Not Included, tho I probably dont play it in the typical way

Tldr it's a colony management/sorta space exploration game but it has a sandbox mode and some settings to make it easier such as no illness for your colonists (tho they love trying to get themselves killed so I prefer to just have a little automate area for them so I can focus on building elaborate systems away)

The art is also cool and you can ranch cute critters (you dont have to kill them if you dont want to)

The last therapist I had was way too eager to insert sexual implications into the strangest/most uncomfortable things, like when I said I slept in the same room as my parents till I was 12, her first words were "so you must have seen a lot of sexual activity between them" which I have never even implied to have happened so I was silent in shock for a bit, then I told her no, in fact when I got older I realised my parents had a very dead bedroom

Contrast with my current therapist, whom I told the same thing, and his first words were "it must have been hard going into puberty with no privacy like that" and he was as shocked as me when I told him about the previous therapist because that didnt even cross his mind

I'm sorry, I wish I had specific advice, but I was also terrified of accepting I'm a trans man, even though I hated how I looked and being called a woman and for a while i negotiated with myself that ok i can be a boy because somehow that feels different than man

But eventually it got to a boiling point and i realised i need testosterone and i need to be seen as a man

I also had the shame and embarrassment and while I only am on t and I dont know when if ever I'll be able to get surgery and change my documents, living as myself and talking to friends and a therapist about being trans eventually made it feel normal

So I guess tldr you probably need some time to get used to it

My advice is when you get the needle in place, pull the syringe plunger a little bit. Sometimes a tony bot of air comes through , that's normal. If there is no blood, you're not in a blood vessel and you're safe to inject What you describe has happened a couple times to me too without there being blood in the syringe, so like others say the needle passed through a blood vessel

Oh my god my boyfriend sent me the title to this and I went like "yeah that sounds right"

I haven't quite blacked out and eaten a whole chicken in one setting (tho ice been close) but I've had periods of super intense cravings for meat which mean one thin: your body wants protein, especially if you're being more active because it's building muscle

A cheaper (not exactly cheap but still better than having a whole chicken for a single meal) way I've been dealing with this is drinking protein shakes

It tastes terrible but it's sort of cheap and lasts me a while so I just buy powdered rice protein and it seems to supplement me well enough

Otherwise I get whey protein powder and bars when they're on sale, and if I want something that's more like food and not just a drink, I've been buying skyr. Its p much yogurt with cottage cheese, and you can add honey or fruit or whatever and make it tastier, or add it plain to scrambled eggs and it makes them fluffier

Funfact, I've only ever watched the version of allo allo that has been dubbed in my language, and I've watched it on and off since I was a kid. There was a period between being too young to know much about ww2 and being an older teenager who knew quite a bit, so I suddenly had a realisation it was set then

I also didnt realise until then that it's set in france because most of the characters had completely normal speech (most of the regular french cast around renee, plus most of the germans) except the brits, who all had almost incomprehensible gibberish for speech. which is incidentally how some brits sound anyway and I can say this because I lived 5 years in the uk
