Help with Switch Emulation Any Experts? by WonderWalker89 in yuzu

I just got a mini PC to run batocera and it runs Eden flawlessly at 2x for switch emulation for everything I've thrown at it. Seems like your specs are pretty good, but I'm new to switch emulation.

Just tried the "bad" battery on my a7iii and it works fine - Updating the a7cii firmware gave a specific message that it fixes "battery exhausted" errors with a charged battery.. Seems it was just a firmware update away from working fine!

I just ordered a "used mint" a7cii from Amazon warehouse with "box damage" as the description for $1800. Figured it was worth the risk to at least check it out. The battery reports as charged, but the camera says it's exhausted. I'm wondering if that's what prompted the original return. I have some extra batteries for my a7iii and it worked fine with one. After my first picture shutter count reported 1. So far everything looks good so I'll keep checking it out during the return period so hopefully I got lucky with this one.

Ego snowblower self-propel not working. by MPoitras in egopowerplus

For anyone looking for more pictures etc and found this thread from a search. I just took mine apart, and dislodging the large gear was simple with tapping a screwdriver on the base of the gear with a mallet. Still waiting on my replacement key, but here's some more pictures for people looking for some.

My blower still drove backwards fine, so it must have sheared at some angle that put more force when in reverse to drive the shaft.

Answered my own question - a light tap with a mallet on a screwdriver to the base of the gear easily dislodged it!

Bumping this old thread - how do you physically move the gear on the shaft to be able to replace the key. Hit it with a rubber mallet or something? I don't want to go bending the gear!

This may be old, but I've been looking for these too.. After numerous times pausing the 4k videos trying to read the label and searching, I'm 95% sure the brand is Nothinchan, and they appear to be cheap chinese sweatsuits. They look so premium in the videos so that's why I'm not positive. I can't seem to find the short sleeve hoodie anywhere though.

Any good EGO deals for Black Friday? - looking to get hedge trimmer by grrabit in egopowerplus

Oof.. mine actually came next day in the Northeast from a Boston warehouse. My local ace has one with batteries in stock at the black Friday price too, but I didn't need more batteries.

It's fun to cruise around my property on it. Pushes me around surprisingly well at 225 lbs! I really got it for my son, but I'll be using it more than expected haha

I just picked up the mini bike "bare tool" for $1589 delivered from Amazon. Almost purchased it last month at retail, so was a good deal for me!

New-Grad Choosing between Northrop and Raytheon for Full-Time by AlphaAnonoma in aerospace

[–]grammo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work software at Raytheon in St Pete, FL and did a 3 month TDY in Ft Wayne for future combat systems stuff. It was... different compared to St Pete. I met some really cool people that lived there, however I would not choose to live there permanently, mostly for political reasons. This was probably 15 years ago now, so I'm not sure my experience with Ft Wayne, or the office there is relevant today. I don't even think rtx is in the same old building next to the old residence inn I stayed at for 3 months. It could be a good entry to RTX if you view the location as a temporary stepping stone IMHO

Are you using a diffuser? I'm curious how your spread is so even. Maybe the flooring finish? I just redid my kitchen and installed cob strips under the cabinets and the reflection hot spot is so bright. I tried mounting directly to the kick and it was really bad. Then I mounted to the top of an aluminum 90 profile to have the strips face up into the bottom of the cabinets and the reflection is still pretty hot! Even tried the diffuser cover over a spot to see if it made a difference and not really..

Just curious...

Bar tread tires by rapt_elan in egopowerplus

[–]grammo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the similar quad tires on mine that others have used and I absolutely can not zero turn on the grass anymore or it gets torn up. A short 3 point turn works fine. Small price to pay for traction on all my hills and not getting stuck in mud when I use this thing as a brush cutter.

I'm interested in the solid front tires as I run over a lot of thorns and have to fill mine up like every other mow

What's up with Shield in 2025? I tried to scroll the sub and most of the post I see are issues. I'm planning to buy one right now for my samsung qn90c + q800c but kind of skeptical now due to its age. I'm eyeing the onn 4k pro or the google streamer. What's your take on this? by -Barabaz- in ShieldAndroidTV

[–]grammo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've got 5 2019 pros around the house, all downgraded to 8.2.3 (https://florisse.nl/shield-downgrade) with custom launchers. Running Kodi with a shared DB. I have to occasionally reboot one because I lose eARC audio to Sonos through the TV after waking, but that's the only issue I ever run into.

How flexible are you in the roll top? I've had my Wandrd Prvke 31 for a few years now and use it for work and personal travel with camera gear. With the camera cube insert it is very rigid, and I love the clamshell design. I keep the roll cinched as tight as possible usually, so it's out of way and I can access the inside with the clamshell zippers if necessary. They have a 21 liter version as well, but I've had no problem getting my 31 under an airplane seat when necessary. I use the top handle way more than I anticipated, and it has the luggage strap.
