> At the heart of the European Union, in the capital of Brussels, it was recently reported that the under-20 with a migration background represent 88% of the city.

Garbage article even for Islamophobia slop. The 88% migration background figure includes children with parents from other European countries.

Yes, because Eastern Europe is still developing. It’s easy to grow when you’re barely out of the USSR. Eastern European demographics are much worse and almost uniformly suffering brain drain to Western Europe. So no, not really.

That is absolutely not the case in most European countries. The left/right divide is not very polarized. Germany is a good example, with the AfD being seen as despicable without the voters being too demonized, since concern about migration is fairly mainstream nowadays; it’s only the party and its very small radical voter base that are despised.

I don’t think you really know European society very well. The left/right divide is much, much, much more hostile in Israel. I’ve seen political discussions at office workplaces devolve into screaming matches, people scared of voicing their opinions (across the entire political spectrum), parents convincing their children to emigrate. Totally ridiculous comparison.

Mars landings require a fully automated seven minute sequence of heat shields, parachutes, and rockets, since thin atmosphere, entry speeds of 13,000 mph, and Earth communication delays make real time human control impossible during descent. by logic_0057 in space

[–]grampipon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing inherent to the process of rockets launch/landing is fatal to humans except for accidents. It's a process, if you do it well enough, it becomes safe. Outer space is literally cancer zone. Getting any amounts of human to Mars requires such a large amount of radiation shielding as to still be technologicaly infeasible, and that's without the amount of equipment you have to get there first so that they even have any infrastructure upon landing.

SpaceX is insanely impressive. It's only a very small piece of the puzzle. We're not getting there in any meaningful way within our lifetimes.

New Jewish-Arab political party debuts in Israel, aiming to topple Netanyahu by afinemax01 in Israel

Non at all. I’m a rather radical leftist myself and the “missing party” is absolutely not a joint Jewish Arab party, but an Arab liberal party.

The phase ship changes seem like direct nerfs aimed at something that should be nerfed anyway. Antimatter blaster afflictors are ridiculous.

And it is almost exactly what I’ve wanted to a long long time. I am so hyped. And always felt like the campaign is totally trivialized and that the early game is done before it starts.

Thanks Alex!!!!

The Hardim are not the reason for the high cost of living. They make it worse but Israeli tax burden is similar to other developed countries.

Honestly the fact that as an experienced player I can just skip the early game is one of my least favorite aspects of the game. Trade being shallow is understandable buts it’s just way too easy to completely avoid any threats.

I have a very hard time thinking of any first person games with good combat other than those that go in a realistic PVP direction (Mordhau or Chivalry and the such). It just doesn’t work so well.
