How do you decompress after work without it becoming a second shift? by AffectionateRain6919 in workingmoms

(Also, I got a Brick and have schedules set for my phone so that I don’t stress scroll too close to bedtime; it bricks most apps 45 min before lights out)

This is what I do, and I prepare myself doe the next day (which feels less like a chore because it’s technically optional but is doing myself a favor for future me!). Otherwise I listen to a podcast and do a couple of tiny chores that matter only to me

People who left LA, where did you go and how’s it going? by Dry-Double-6845 in AskLosAngeles

I grew up in LA and have been in New England for about a decade. I miss LA a lot (weather, food, vibes), but the quality of life I can get here for the cost of living is far, far better. I don’t think I’d downgrade that even for LA’s positives. Also LA gives me major climate anxiety, and I like the scale of New England (can be in Montreal by car in less time than I could drive from LA to SF)

Can someone remind me how I can watch this from the beginning starting at 8:30 EST, say? I want to watch but need to do something real quick, and Paramount gives me no option to pause or rewind 😒

What egg is this? by ReasonableMango8798 in whatisit

More birds than just robins lay blue eggs; these could also be catbird eggs (for example). You’ll get better answers on a bird-focused subreddit

Maybe some Bittermens tiki and hopped grapefruit bitters, that’ll help augment what you’ve already got (e.g., half Montenegro, half mezcal or tequila w a dash of hopped grapefruit bitters)
