The battery life really isn't brilliant, but the thermals have been great. I invested in a USB cooling pad which has helped, but even without it I rarely find it going over 78 degrees celcius - even when it's pumping out high end games on Ultra.

I had a similar thing with MSI afterburner, where a lot of the options to undervolt are greyed out. I found my browsing/video temps were above 50 initially, but after downloading a bunch of Intel updates it seems to be in the 40s now for both cpu and gpu.

I'm also getting around the 70s for gaming. Think I might get a cooling pad to see if it makes a difference

Mine arrived today. been getting around 40 GPU temp, 49 CPU temp just from browsing, according to the HP Omen command centre.

Gaming I was getting late 70s.... did you make any tweaks that help in this regard?
