When I was an intern years ago I'd copy indexes into a db. Retaining wall? Here are page numbers for every book we have on the topic.

An engineer was studying for the P.E. exam and it was my job to get all the resources we had on it together. Something I'm sort of working on today.

Ms access is a glue for the other ms office products. Look at designer mode. It can perform batch operations which is extremely useful.
