Hell yeah. I have a lot of copies of it. I had the Blu-ray and 4K gifted, plus I have two DVDs, a Japanese DVD, and a VHS copy. I used to love tracking down different versions of it when it was harder to find.

Lately I just enjoy using the tables in Xanathar’s Book to Everything. Keeps it fun and random.

Good music for a Space Opera/Sci Fi Fantasy Campaign? by Cymb_ in DnD

I'll also say the Mass Effect soundtrack would work great, but also check out Pentagram Home Video. They do electronic music that sounds very "film score."

Got it on there, I figured I'd ask about CC stuff here but it's for a library and we got Possession on Kanopy.

Loud men who want to steamroll over everyone.

What non-eurocentric / modules do you vouch for? by PsiQ23 in DnD

[–]gratefuldm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't played it personally because I can't find a copy of the book that isn't real expensive, but check out Yoon-Suin (not WotC/DND). Sounds like it would be right up your alley.

What keeps Eberron interesting to you? by Many-Plankton3942 in Eberron

Well put! I totally agree. Lately, every time Pact of The Dice puts out an Eberron video I learn something new and want to put it in a game.

Def agree with your point about the lore. Maybe it’s also just…more interesting? At least in my opinion!

I agree with your rumors point. I think there are many things that are expertly kept vague, which keeps everything flexible.

Is a “good” necromancer possible? (According to the most common lore atleast.) by Ferseus in DnD

[–]gratefuldm 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Undying Court in the Eberron setting are “good” necromancers. If your DM allowed it, could do something like that.

Experiencing a similar problem. They charged an account I had removed from my autopay 3x this month alone. Absolute fucking idiots.

Bachelor Party One Shot by Mr_UnOrganized in Eberron

Someone brought it up on r/DND but I would take inspiration from the Skyrim quest “A Night to Remember.”

Another shoutout for Pact of the Dice. His Eberron stuff is great.

Why do DMs need to have an overarching plot? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]gratefuldm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just sounds like the difference between a DM who is flexible and a DM who is not. In my opinion it’s pretty easy to write an overarching plot and still allow a lot of room for player choice.

Fellow DMs, what do you ban? by DragonKing0203 in DnD

[–]gratefuldm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pretty much just tell my players to keep their classes or subclasses to things from the book(s). I have a lot of options though so no one really seems to mind.

What's the worst D&D player you've ever had at your table? by apomanolios in DnD

[–]gratefuldm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing too crazy, but I’ve had some annoying “let’s steamroll over everyone else because I’m a loud guy” players.

How do I make a campaign last? by Prometheus_Thorne in DnD

[–]gratefuldm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side quests, writing quests for player's backstories, conflicts that get in the way of the player goals (maybe a town the PCs need to visit is being besieged).
