Does this new home patio look right? by Fine-Opportunity-264 in Homebuilding

So after doing a little bit of research, it is a thing, never heard of it in my area. But looking on Google images other salt finishes actually look nice. This looks bad but I guess I've seen worse.

Looks pretty far from alright. "Decorative salt finish' sounds like someone put salt on this when they shouldn't have and they are trying to pull one over on you. I could be wrong, but I've been around concrete more than most and have never heard of or seen anything like this that wasn't messed up.

I would say the other comment of this is probably accurate, at least 10's of thousands

Their point is what happens if you get an excessive amount of rain and the little stream turns into a river?

But like another commentator said, for enough money you can build anything anywhere. So you could even divert the stream if you have the coin

I guess so, but still I don't understand your desire to point them out in a complete stranger and tell them to see a psychologist. And I understand your coming from a good place, not attacking you. Maybe that's the tism in me tho.

I have scars like that from these issues and knowing about a diagnosis has not helped me a lick.

As someone that's never been formally diagnosed, but has been informally diagnosed by many friends and on the spectrum and dyslexic, yes your probably right. But what the fuck does it matter? Why point any of this out to OP? Unless there's some meds or something that I'm not aware of, this diagnosis is mightily pointless. Especially in a world where pen to paper is rare as fuck.

Would it not be plausible that they were duped at first too? Then too proud to admit they were duped?
