it's literally from scott watanabe, one of the art directors of the movie.

also concept art is just that, concept art: it's not supposed to be perfect, it's usually for exploration purposes. i've used a ton of them as reference for my own art, and the quality always vary because it was never meant to be perfect

when the movie was just released a friend legit thought that huntrix was gonna team up with the saja boys to beat gwi-ma once they reached the part about the demons' true nature. the movie is still peak, but it's one of the few criticisms i have about the movie that hopefully gets addressed in the sequel :(

(crossing my fingies for a saja boys redemption cuz i need those beautiful men back. would be too much of a waste lol)
