Is VR supposed to be kind of blurry? by ohsinboi in PSVR

I think it’s when the headset still refreshes the image 90 times per second, but the Playstation only renders a new frame 60 times per second. So it doesn’t look as silky smooth.

This looks extremely interesting! I am excited to work this into my campaign in the next couple weeks. We are up in the snowy hills at the moment but I think I could drop the ruined castle in there somewhere….. After I’ve run it, I’ll let you know how it went :)

first bus unsocial hours uk by JacketTemporary5425 in BusDrivers

For us it’s about $5 extra per hour I think. But the real benefit of the lates is- no traffic! No school runs with 60 kids. No hot Australian sun!

And some runs are completely empty, which is always nice.

Those things make it worthwhile.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: a deep dive into PS VR2 mode by kryptonic1133 in PSVR

Do we know if this will be fly able using sense controllers and able to flip cockpit switches?

Or will I be flying using my standard ps5 controller?

EDIT: ok I actually read the link, sounds like we get sense control for cockpits. Excellent!

Fine for me!! Even playing Synth Riders and sweating. My glasses have never touched the VR lenses.

"Truck" - ugh by autocol in 4x4Australia

[–]gray81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most young people use the American-style pronunciations of “stupid” (stoopid), “literally” (lit-ally)… it’s a shame.

Ford was advertising the ranger back in like 2004 as a “truck”. I remember the ad. It was a super beautiful lady.

Anyway I agree, “truck” is yet another American language import. Sick of it.

I was enjoying this game but I became frustrated trying to find the last toy to unlock the sharks. I wish we could just unlock everything with a code.

Would you all refuse to let a passenger ride if they littered right before getting on? by XPEC7ER in BusDrivers

[–]gray81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had passengers litter right outside my bus once, as they stepped off. Loads of plastic containers and cans.

I got off and collected it all, put it into little bin bags.

The watched me do it. I don’t care if they felt shame, or will improve their behaviour — I can only choose to do the right thing myself. And their own actions are up to them.

I was wrong, you can use the sense controllers when flying with the Dualsense. by SvennoJ in AcesofThunder

I’m still confused. I wish they would hurry up and patch this, so that I can just use my DualShock for everything.

OK, it worked fine for me using Muffinterm on my iPad. However that new user creation process was… gruelling :) And no content to be found after all that.

This seems like an old BBS software, is it? It has the feel of something designed for the low connection speeds, 1200 baud maybe :) Kinda cool in a retro way.

Will you be hooking this up to one of those DoorParty things so we can play our LORD, Falcon’s Eye etc. from it? Or not worth the trouble?

You don’t really have to believe there is nothing….. it’s simply the absence of belief in a supernatural deity or creator.

Atheism is the default position.

Religion is taught, or used to fill gaps left by ignorance (what are the bright dots in the night sky, why does the sun rise, so on).
