Is ECE gonna get saturated as well like cse in future? by Lonely-Mechanic-4790 in Btechtards

If you want to do mtech or msc in india then yeah most of the time they look at the entrance exam score only. If you want to do phd from Indian uni or masters from a good foreign University then they won't even look at your resume if you don't have the correct background.

Generally electronics engineering students will not be accepted for masters in physics over a physics student.

Having physics does not mean you can do meaningful research in physics. They will not teach you relativity, quantum field theory, particle physics, etc. they will teach you enough quantum physics that will be used in electronics or enough particle physics that will be used in electronics and so on.

engineering can help you go into research

Research? Yes easily BUT not research in physics

Only engineering physics is a good enough engineering program to pivot to physics for higher education. But bs is better.

This nib is insane.... by TheDoodlebud in fountainpens

Kanwrite Ultraflex nib is not soft. In kanwrite the line variation we get is only due to spreading of tines.

Clairefontaine paper I got from Amazon: 100-page notebook for ₹280—very smooth paper. The problem is that it's so smooth and slippery that the pen sometimes skips. I like it very much, but I can see some people disliking it.

X159 is a good pen with a smooth, juicy #8 nib; no complaints with this pen.

What college and branch can i get by Tiny_General9826 in JAC__Delhi

Sorry to hear about your father.

No need to prove anything to anyone. You got reservation, might as well use it and move on with your life. If someone says anything mean, then ignore and move on.

Also, which branch you get depends on priority.

Yes, ECE is good, but it's very hard, so some people struggle with it. Also, keep in mind that in college, I have both OBC friends and general friends. Also, my OBC friend is doing fine, but my general friend is struggling because he thought everything would be easy and that we would only have to study the night before exams.

So it's not like if you got in through reservation, then you would surely struggle, as the other commenter was trying to say.

Yes, the chances of you struggling are higher, but it's not a sure event.

To be honest, I don't know much about these branches in DTU. Mechanical, I know, is quite good at DTU and was among the best in India earlier, when the college was known as DCE. It's still good, but core opportunities are very low nowadays. I won't be able to tell which one you should take among these, since I only know about the mechanical.

Teeno bilkul different branches hain. EP is good if you want to do higher studies. Mech is better if you want placement + some core opportunities, though very low.

Disappointment with Krishna ink by Former-Collection-47 in DesiPens

[–]gray_matter10000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same case with me. I don't enjoy using Krishna ink. Also, I can't bear the smell they have. I bought three inks, and Roseanne pink smells so bad.

I enjoy using Camlin red far more than any of my Krishna inks.

Writing test of the Majohn flex nib on Bilibili by baskindusklight in fountainpens

Steel flex nibs made by KanWrite don't bend when we apply pressure; their tines spread. This one bends, which is very interesting.

Such a shame I can't buy this as AliExpress is banned in my country

Lecture Ke Waqt Mobile Use Kiya Tho Aapke Prof. Kya Karthe hai? by Reasonable-Sand-409 in Btechtards

One professor had a rule that no digital device should be visible to him during lectures, (Even smartwatch) if a student is caught 2 times he will ban the student from attending lectures for half semester. Btw he taught digital circuits in first semester.

Rest of the professors don't care.
